🏀 Basketball — Our boys dominated the court and sealed the deal with a historic 4-PEAT CHAMPIONSHIP! Nothing but legends. 👑
💃 Dance Palabas — Our dancers took the stage and OWNED it, bringing home the CHAMPION title with every move! 🎶🏆
🥈 Overall Standing — We may not have taken the top spot this year, but finishing as 1st Runner-Up Overall is a testament to every athlete, competitor, and supporter who gave their heart for CBA. We came, we competed, we made our college proud. 💪💛

On the courts and beyond — our Volleyball Women & Men dominated, our Tennis players brought home the crown 🎾👑, our Badminton players secured their wins 🏸, our Chess Men claimed his spot although our women didn't hold a spot we are so proud of you ♟️, our Writing Contest representatives secured their place 3rd ✍️, our Quiz Bee representatives finished strong at 3rd and 4th 🥉, and our Mobile Legends players? CBA SPREADS JOY AT PANAGTIMBAYA 2025

On August 11, 2025, at 1:00 PM, the University of the Visayas Dalaguete Campus proudly celebrated Panagtimbaya 2025, an annual gathering that strengthens camaraderie and school spirit. As part of this special occasion, the College of Business Administration sponsored and awarded prizes to participants, adding joy and excitement to the afternoon’s festivities.

The CBA Department prepared personalized umbrellas, caps, and tote bags. Practical yet meaningful tokens designed to be useful in students’ daily routines. Each item was carefully chosen to reflect both functionality and identity: umbrellas for protection and preparedness, caps for casual comfort and style, and tote bags as a sustainable choice for carrying books and essentials, all bearing designs that promote pride in being part of UVDC.

This initiative reflects the CBA Department’s commitment to strengthening the sense of community within UV Dalaguete Campus, supporting its mission to foster harmonious relationships and joyful celebrations that bring students, faculty, and staff together in unity.

SEMINAR CONCLUDED: FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER

Today, the College of Business Administration at the University of the Visayas Dalaguete Campus proudly concluded a meaningful and highly engaging seminar entitled “First Impressions Matter: Mastering Resume & Cover Letter Writing with Professional Conduct”.

Held on August 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room, the event brought together our 4th Year CBA students for an inspiring and practical session designed to prepare them for their upcoming Internship.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our guest speaker, Mr. Anthony S. Teo, for sharing his expertise and guiding our students in crafting impactful resumes, persuasive cover letters, and carrying themselves with utmost professionalism.

We would also like to acknowledge the unwavering support of our OIC-Dean, Mrs. Flora May Amamangpang, for her encouragement and leadership in making this seminar possible.

STRENGTHENING THE CBA COMMUNITY THROUGH GUIDANCE AND LEADERSHIP

On August 11, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the College of Business Administration at the University of the Visayas Dalaguete Campus gathered all sections and year levels for the Class Advisory Orientation.

This event served as a foundation for fostering order, communication, and unity within the CBA community. Highlights of the program included the election of class officers, orientation of class schedules, formal introductions of class advisers, and the setting of class rules that will guide students throughout the semester.

Through this orientation, students were not only informed but also empowered to take responsibility, collaborate effectively, and uphold the Tatak Visayanian values of excellence, service, and integrity.

As we move forward, this shared understanding will serve as the compass for a productive and inspiring academic year ahead.
