The University Student Council formally calls upon all bona fide students of Bicol University to participate in the University-Wide Plebiscite for the ratification of the proposed USC Constitution and By-Laws (CBL).

The proposed CBL, duly approved by the General Legislative Council and collectively crafted through consultations, deliberations, and institutional processes, seeks to strengthen student governance, accountability, representation, and service within the university.

We highly encourage every student to exercise their right to vote and become part of this significant milestone in the history of student leadership and representation in the university.

The 𝐁𝐔𝐂𝐃𝐌 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 for 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was formally presided over by the Parliamentary Committee, headed by 𝐌𝐱. 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐳𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, together with 𝐌𝐱. 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐧̃𝐨𝐥, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, and 𝐌𝐱. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞. Through their guidance, the proceedings were conducted with order, professionalism, and parliamentary decorum, ensuring that each agenda item was thoroughly presented, discussed, and deliberated upon.

During the assembly, each committee head presented their 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬. Updates on their respective committee’s status, accomplishments, and ongoing challenges were delivered to give the student body a clearer understanding of their initiatives and overall progress throughout the academic year. This was followed by the presentation of the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕, which outlined key academic milestones and important dates for the coming year. In addition, the 𝐁𝐔𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 was presented, highlighting each council member’s contributions, overall performance, and the council’s continued commitment to accountable and meaningful service.

To conclude the General Assembly, 𝐌𝐱. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐨, 𝐂𝐒𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, delivered her 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡, underscoring the vital role of leadership in driving progress and fostering unity within the college community. Emphasizing that true growth requires collective effort, she called on every student to actively participate, collaborate, and contribute, reminding everyone that meaningful change can only be achieved when the entire community chooses to show up and move forward together.

As the assembly came to a close, it left the student body with a deeper sense of purpose and direction for the months ahead. More than a platform for discussion, it became an opportunity to reaffirm the community’s commitment to meaningful participation and shared responsibility. With every voice heard and every concern addressed, the BUCDM community continues to build a culture rooted in unity, engagement, and a collective vision for progress.

Last 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟴 - 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗕𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 proudly participated in “𝗞𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗨𝗲𝗻̃𝗼,” a celebration of creativity, talent, and the vibrant spirit of the BU community. Represented by 𝟮𝟮 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, BUCDM competed across a wide range of categories—including Literary, Visual Arts, Quiz Bowl, E-Sports, Music, and Dance—showcasing not only their skills but also their commitment to excellence beyond the field of dentistry.

Each participant carried the name of BUCDM with pride, demonstrating perseverance, teamwork, and artistry in every performance and competition. From thought-provoking literary pieces to dynamic dance routines and strategic gameplay, the delegation embodied the essence of “𝑲𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒑𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈”—igniting stories, talents, and inspiration.

Out of 17 participating colleges and campuses, BUCDM proudly secured 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹, marking a commendable achievement that reflects the hard work and determination of the entire team. More than the ranking, this experience stands as a celebration of growth, camaraderie, and the boundless potential of BUCDM students.
