The 2nd Semester Audit Period is set to commence on June 09, 2026 and continue until July 17, 2026.

Please kindly await the sending of the Notice to Submit the Semestral Audit Report for the 2nd Semester of A.Y. 2025-2026. This is to be provided directly through the official email of each SG and PC.

If your office has pending financial documents, kindly inform the assigned Inspector General for your college department as listed in our email, dated June 05, 2026.

Introducing to you one of the independent commissions established by the University Student Government Constitution: the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐔𝐒𝐆-𝐈𝐀𝐒).

The USG-IAS is tasked with examining, reviewing, and investigating financial matters of the University Student Government, College Student Governments, and their Program Councils to ensure transparency within student offices.

This Commission comprises officers carefully selected to define the essential powers, roles, and responsibilities for the student body. These include the Auditor General, Inspector Generals, Secretary General, the Media & Publication, and the Trainees.

Together, we provide high-quality service to the Lasallians, ensuring that the finances of each student office are spent with honesty and integrity.

𝟏𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐀.𝐘. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 - 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Internal Audit Service is an essential constitutional commission of the University Student Government. Its core mission is to serve and ensure the proper use of funds allocated to each Student Government (SG) and Program Council (PC) within the university.

On April 30, 2026, the USG-IAS had officially transmitted its Semestral Report for the First Semester of the Academic Year 2025-2026 to the Congress and President of the USG 7th Congress. Aside from this, as a copy for public viewing, the following report outlines the tasks and responsibilities of the Commission during the semester. It also highlights the milestones and accomplishments achieved by the organization.

From 32 audited student offices, 30 issued audit findings, 7 released formal warnings, 11 issued resolutions, 1 filed and concluded investigation, and 3 rendered consultations, these actions demonstrate the Commission’s commitment to providing quality service to the student body and upholding greater transparency and accountability for student offices.

𝐈𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟎𝟎𝟏-𝟎𝟎𝟏-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

On November 6, 2025, the USG–Internal Audit Service received a complaint against a student officer, alleging that during the tenure of said individual as project head of a certain event, they failed to provide proof that the (𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥) in-kind donation was given to and received by its beneficiary.

Following a thorough review by the Commission, the complaint was deemed valid, and 𝐈𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟎𝟎𝟏-𝟎𝟎𝟏-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 was commenced. The respondent was subsequently requested to settle the accounts of the event and provide justification regarding the incomplete state of its financial documents.

In commitment with the principles of integrity and honesty, the respondent was able to fully explain and settle the accounts of the event. These were counterchecked by the IAS, and the Commission commends the accountability demonstrated by the respondent and their dedication to uphold financial transparency.

Henceforth, 𝐈𝐀𝐒 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟎𝟎𝟐-𝟎𝟎𝟑-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 hereby declares the accounts of the involved event settled and orders the closure of 𝐈𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟎𝟎𝟏-𝟎𝟎𝟏-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
