When a roadside accident happened in Silang Cavite, third-year BS in Nursing learner. Andrea Eunice Layugan put her training into action, providing immediate assistance and staying with the injured woman until help arrived.

In recognition of her swift, compassionate, and responsible response, EAC President Dr. Jose Paulo E. Campos personally presented Andrea with a Certificate of Recognition on September 1, 2026

For Andrea, the experience gave even deeper meaning to the Emilian core values of Virtue, Excellence, and Service, showing how these values can be lived out through courage, compassion, and a genuine willingness to help others.
