The 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 of the Marasigan Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) successfully conducted their 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 last May 23, 2026 at GST Gun Store and Indoor Shooting Range, Langkaan, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Guided by their subject instructor 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨 𝐎. 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐫, 𝐌𝐒𝐂𝐉, 𝐑𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦, SO2, together with the Program Head, Coordinator, and Faculty of CCJE, the students gained valuable hands-on training in fi****ms handling, safety, and marksmanship as an essential component of their academic and professional preparation in the field of criminology and law enforcement.

💡 This activity highlights MIST’s commitment to providing practical learning experiences that strengthen discipline, responsibility, and technical skills among future criminologists.

The Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BS Crim) interns of MIST formally rendered their Exit Call to FCINSP Beverly May P. Grimaldo-Deleon, City Fire Marshal of Bacoor City Fire Station, marking the successful completion of their On-the-Job Training (OJT).

This ceremonial exit call is more than tradition, it is a gesture of gratitude, respect, and professional courtesy to the station that guided them throughout their immersion. The interns gained firsthand exposure to the operations, responsibilities, and challenges of the fire service, reinforcing their academic foundation with real-world experience.

🔥 Throughout their training, the interns demonstrated discipline, dedication, and eagerness to learn qualities that define future public servants and criminologists. Their journey at Bacoor City Fire Station has honed their skills and prepared them for greater responsibilities in the fields of criminology, public safety, and community service.

The Bacoor City Fire Station commends these young criminologists for their perseverance and commitment. As they move forward, may they continue to embody the values of service, integrity, and excellence in their chosen profession.

Safety starts with awareness and preparedness!

A successful Fire Safety Seminar and Fire Drill was led by the 3rd Year BS Criminology students and NSTP-CWTS, in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Dasmariñas BFP R4A Dasmariñas City Fire Station, Cavite at Marasigan Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) to promote awareness, preparedness, and proper response during fire emergencies.

This activity aims to strengthen fire prevention knowledge, emergency response skills, and proper evacuation procedures for the safety of everyone inside the campus.

The College of Criminal Justice Education warmly welcomed representatives from the Philippine National Police – Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) during their courtesy visit.

The visit aimed to coordinate a proposed seminar on drug awareness and prevention, with the goal of enhancing students’ knowledge and strengthening the campaign for a drug-free community.

The College extends its sincere appreciation to PNP-DEG for this initiative and looks forward to continued partnership in promoting public safety, awareness, and responsible citizenship.
