π‡πšπ©π©π² 𝐁𝐒𝐫𝐭𝐑𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐑𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲!

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior and the Seat of Wisdom.

As we commemorate her birth, we give thanks not only for her great Magnificat, her humble and courageous β€œyes” to God, but also for her continuing maternal wisdom that guides us closer to her Son.

As students who journey in the pursuit of wisdom and truth, may we look to Mary, the Seat of Wisdom, and implore her intercession. May she teach us to seek with humility, to question with faith, and to recognize that our pursuit of truth ultimately leads us to Christ, her Son, who is β€œthe Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

MULAT REPRESENT | DIGITAL BRANDING WORKSHOP

More than knowing what to post, digital branding is about knowing what story we tell, whose identity we represent, and what community we hope to build. This workshop equipped student leaders, particularly those managing their respective academic club social media pages, to communicate not only the vision and mission of their organizations but also to ensure that their digital presence remains aligned with the identity and values of Holy Cross of Davao College.

As part of a Catholic Archdiocesan educational institution, every post should not only carry a story or represent an identity but also remain anchored in Catholic valuesβ€”using digital spaces as an opportunity to connect, inspire, and build community.

MULAT was represented by its President, Vice President, and Year-Level Representative, together with other students from the Bachelor of Arts Program.

ANNOUNCEMENT | ID VALIDATION

The ID Validation for the current semester is now ongoing. Students are advised to proceed to the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) and present their ID to the assigned Student Assistants for validation. The ID validation period is until September 18, 2026 only, and there will be strictly NO extension beyond this date.

Students are also reminded to observe proper decorum and remain respectful at all times when transacting with the Student Assistants and OSAS personnel. Please be patient and courteous throughout the validation process.

Mulat FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2026–2027 | Questioning Minds, Seeking Truth, Growing Together

Mulat gathered once again for another academic year to question, seek truth, and grow together. This year, the Mulat continues to grow as they warmly welcome new members from different programs and enrollees, including students from different congregations, particularly the Marist and Cavanis Seminarians.

The General Assembly was made more meaningful through the presence of our Club Moderator and Chairperson of the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy Program, Romelyn S. Luzon, MAT-E, together with the Philosophy faculty members who continue to guide and support the formation of the Mulat.

The General Assembly marked only the beginning of another journey in the pursuit of truth. During the gathering, Mulat President presented his vision for the community throughout the academic year, highlighting the community’s commitment to intellectual formation, meaningful engagement, and growth. He also formally introduced the club’s officers and committee chairpersons who will work together in carrying out this vision.

As we begin this new chapter, may Mulat continue to be a community where minds are awakened, questions are welcomed, truth is pursued, and every member grows together.

MULAT REPRESENT | Jumpstart 2026–2027

Mulat came together as one community to participate in the final day of Jumpstart 2026–2027 and to listen to the inspiring message of the SSG President as he leads the student body into another meaningful and promising academic year.

Representing the organization were the Club President, Vice President, and Auditor, together with fellow Mulat members. The members were also grateful for the presence and support of our Assistant Club Moderator, Mr. Jholy John Nobabos, PhD. Cand., who joined the Mulat community during the gathering.

As we begin another academic year, may we continue to stand together in our pursuit of truth, wisdom, and meaningful engagement as students of philosophy.
