The UP Mindanao Architecture Student Council successfully conducts its 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 held on September 2, 2026!

The assembly opened with key updates from Department of Architecture Program Coordinator Ar. Nory Loyd Narvaez-Pernes on what to expect for this academic year, followed by the official Oath Taking of the ASC Officers led by ASC Adviser Ar. Jotham Norman P. Molinos. Attendees also engaged in an Educational Discussion on Youth and Education, spearheaded by Rise For Education UP Mindanao. To wrap up the session, the council discussed upcoming flagship event planning and shared vital updates regarding ISKOKA and Torch Night 2026.

The ASC extends its appreciation to all faculty, officers, and students whose presence made this assembly a meaningful success. Everyone helped set the foundation for a productive academic year. 𝘗𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯, 𝘈𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘬𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘴!

𝐀𝐈𝐄𝐗 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖

The AIEX 2026 Lecture Review was successfully held on August 29, 2026 (Saturday) at the Mindanao Studies and Cultural Center, UP Mindanao, bringing together nearly 200 BS Architecture students and alumni for a day of learning, review, and preparation for the Licensure Examination for Architects (LEA).

The Department of Architecture sincerely extends its gratitude to our resource speakers, Ar. Eloisa Marie T. Plana and Ar. Rey Justine D. Intong, for generously sharing their time, expertise, and valuable insights with our students. We also thank everyone who participated and contributed to the successful conduct of this year’s Lecture Review.

With nearly 200 participants, this year’s Lecture Review was a meaningful step toward strengthening our students’ knowledge and confidence as they prepare for the LEA.

Meet the 𝗔𝗦𝗖 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 that serve as an empowering organization for spatial advocacy, critical thinking, and community action, who honor our pre-colonial foundations, vernacular practices, and foreign architectural influences. Our capacity for adaptation and reinterpretation allows us to build a community that is academically driven, culturally rooted, and devoted to the public good.

As we welcome the new academic year as Arkiskolar ng Bayan, we reaffirm our commitment to stand with every student, design with purpose, and serve the masses.
