The UP Alumni Association Davao (UPAAD) and the UP Mindanao Alumni Association (UPMinAA) agreed to cooperate in a series of projects for UP Mindanao's 30th anniversary year, in a meeting held on May 31, 2025.

The UPAAD gave commitments to support the UPMinAA's upcoming Panagtagbo alumni homecoming on campus in July.

Both parties also agreed to cooperate for the UP Regional Alumni Institute to be held in Davao City in October.

The parties also committed to support a student-initiated medical and legal mission to be held on campus in June.

All alumni, their family, and friends are welcome to any and all of the events.

The UP Alumni Association Davao mourns the passing of Daniel "Danny" C. Guillen (UPLB BS Agriculture 1972), former UPAAD director, co-founder and trustee of UP Mindanao Foundation, and husband to former UP Mindanao dean Teresita V. Guillen.

Members of the UP Mindanao Foundation Inc. (UPMFI) held their Annual Membership Meeting on November 23, 2024, at the Conference Room of PhilSaga Corporation in Davao City.

The meeting highlight was the re-election of Celia Castillo, Zony Reyes, and Marie Glenn Sorila to a fresh term as trustees in the agenda item, the Election of UPMFI Board of Trustees.

Earlier, President Zony Reyes gave her President's Report, focusing on the scholarships, and Marie Glenn Sorila delivered her Treasurer's Report, detailing the UPMFI's financial position.

In closing, the body agreed to hold the scholars' Christmas fellowship in December.
