📢 Clinical Pharmacy Enrollment & Clinical Skills Workshop Schedule – AY 2025–2026

Onsite enrollment and Clinical Skills Workshop will be held on June 18, 19, and 20, 2025.

✅ Applicants residing in the Philippines and foreign applicants currently in the country are REQUIRED to undergo onsite enrollment and attend the face-to-face Clinical Skills Workshop.

MUPY welcomed delegates from the University of the Immaculate Conception, Philippines, to strengthen academic collaboration.

MUPY welcomed delegates from the University of the Immaculate Conception, Philippines, to strengthen academic collaboration.

On Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 09.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M., executives from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University (MUPY), led by Assoc. Prof. Surakit Nathisuwan, the Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitaporn Youngkong, Deputy Dean for Global Partnerships and Corporate Communication, warmly welcomed delegates from the College of Pharmacy and Chemistry, University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC), Philippines. The UIC delegation comprised Dr. Kathleen O. Bersabal, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Chemistry, and Dr. Cherrie G. Muana, Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator.

The meeting, held in the economic meeting room of Health Technology Assessment Program (HTA) department, focused on exploring potential academic and research collaborations, including student and staff exchange programs, joint conferences, online lectures, research initiatives, and professional training opportunities. Following the discussions, the UIC delegates toured MUPY's learning and research facilities, including the Central Research Facility Unit, the Centre of Biopharmaceutical Science for Healthy Ageing (BSHA), the Centre of Molecular Targeting & Integrated Drug Development (CMT-IDD), and various learning laboratories.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening academic ties and fostering international cooperation in pharmaceutical education and professional practice. In addition, this program responded to SDG’s Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries, and Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals to strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.

Regular Clinical Pharmacy Program

The program runs for one year and one summer, consisting of two regular semesters and a summer term. It's specifically designed for individuals who are available between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (Monday- Thursday), whether they're seeking employment or have flexible schedules and aren't currently working during those hours. Recent BS Pharmacy graduates or those who haven't yet passed the board exam are also eligible to apply for this program.

Classes will be held online Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Activities will include both synchronous sessions (where you meet your instructor via Google Meet for one hour and thirty minutes) and asynchronous tasks. You'll have a maximum of three subjects per day.

Below are the requirements:

1. Photocopy of Board Rating (if registered pharmacist) (scanned copy)
2. Original Transcript of Records (scanned copy)
3. Resume with picture (scanned copy)

The first three (3) requirements must be submitted to [email protected] for the coordinator's initial evaluation.

Other requirements must be uploaded to the enrollment link once it's open.

4. Original PSA Birth Certificate and Marriage Contract (if applicable)
5. Photocopy of PRC ID (If licensed RPh)
6. Photocopy of Board Certificate (if applicable)
7. If US- Visa holder- Photocopy of Passport
8. Honorable Dismissal
9. Good Moral Character
10. two (2) pcs. of 2 x 2 Picture
Fees:

Tuition Fee: Php 50,000- Php 55,000

For the SY 2024-2025 (July to April), the teaching and learning modality is fully online for all academic courses. While in the following events, the school will require face-to-face transactions:

1. Enrollment period of 1st semester (First week of July 2024). It will also be the time for students’ orientation. (The program will set the specific date of the enrollment and direction).

1.1 However, special consideration is given to those residing outside the Philippines (dual citizens or holders of a Philippine Passport).

Let's explore the details of Clinical Pharmacy program tailored specifically for working pharmacists!

The Clinical Pharmacy program for working pharmacists is a special program for 2 ½ years, including four regular semesters and one summer term. This program is open to all registered pharmacists engaged in community, hospital, or related pharmacy practices. Beginning this year, we've removed the previous requirement of 2 years of experience for enrollment, making it open to all working pharmacists. Classes are held asynchronously from Monday to Friday, while synchronous (live lecture) meetings are scheduled every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Below are the requirements:

1. Certificate of Employment
2. Photocopy of Board Rating (scanned copy)
3. Original Transcript of Records (scanned copy)
4. Resume with picture (scanned copy)
5. Letter of endorsement from the direct supervisor permitting the student to study while employed

The first five (5) requirements must be submitted to [email protected] for the coordinator's initial evaluation.

Other requirements are to be uploaded to the enrollment link once available.
