𝐒𝐏𝐂𝐓 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐀. 𝟏𝟏𝟑𝟏𝟑: 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏-𝐂𝐖𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

Earlier today, St. Peter's College of Toril, Inc. (SPCT) conducted a lecture on Republic Act No. 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act, for its NSTP-CWTS students at the BEED AVR.

The activity was led by Mr. Jimmy Jill E. Do-ong, MM, JD, NSTP-CWTS Coordinator, together with the NSRC officers. Atty. Ariston Appari, LPT, served as the guest lecturer.

The lecture aimed to help students gain a better understanding of the provisions of the Safe Spaces Act, particularly in preventing gender-based sexual harassment and promoting respect, dignity, and safety in various spaces.

The activity also included the election of the new NSTP-CWTS officers for the 2027–2028 term, allowing students to take part in selecting their new set of student leaders.

𝐒𝐏𝐂𝐓 𝐌𝐕𝐓 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐞-𝐔𝐩 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐇𝐒

Earlier today, the SPCT Men’s Volleyball Team (MVT), coached by Mr. Louie Jay Tajale, secured a hard-fought 3–2 victory against the Calinan National High School Volleyball Team in a tune-up match held at the SPCT BED Covered Court.

The match provided both teams with an opportunity to sharpen their skills, strengthen team coordination, and gain valuable game experience. Despite the competitive exchanges throughout the match, the SPCT MVT remained composed and determined, ultimately taking the win after five sets.

Earlier today, the St. Peter’s College of Toril Campus Ministry Office and ELIA successfully held the Marie Rivier Young Evangelizers Formation on August 28, 2026, at the Marinette AVR. Guided by the theme "Young Evangelizers: Rise Up! Listen, Shine, and Be Unafraid!", the event featured an exploration of the history of MRYE led by Sr. Michelle May Caligner, pm, and discussions on catechists' spirituality and commitment led by Sr. Anna Mae Sonsona, pm.

The afternoon program featured sessions on the nature of learners and classroom management led by Mrs. Maria Edna Ocon and Ms. Diane Maglaway, teaching strategies and visual aids presented by Ms. Diane May Sandot, and lesson presentations handled by Ms. Grace Marin.

FIRST TERM BREAK

The Basic Education Department of St. Peter’s College of Toril will officially begin its First Term Break tomorrow, September 4, until September 15, 2026, marking the conclusion of the First Term.

Please be advised that any activities, schedules, and important announcements during the term break will be posted through the official Students’ and Parents’ Group Chats (GCs). Everyone is encouraged to regularly check these communication channels to stay updated and informed about any announcements, schedules, reminders, or other important information.

We encourage our learners, parents, and teachers to use this break wisely and meaningfully. May this period provide everyone with an opportunity to rest, recharge, spend quality time with family, and prepare for the upcoming term.

𝐁𝐒𝐁𝐀 𝐅𝐌 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬

BSBA Financial Management (FM) students of St. Peter’s College of Toril, Inc. conducted an educational field visit to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), guided by their instructors Mrs. Cheryl F. Rivera and Mr. Sherwin Ian Banudan.

During the visit, the students learned about the functions of the BSP, monetary policy, inflation, financial stability, and the Philippine banking system. The activity also featured learning sessions with speakers Mr. Ramonneto S. Gervacio and Mr. Edward B. Cabalida, who shared insights on central banking, financial management, and its role in the Philippine economy.

The field visit allowed the students to connect their classroom discussions with actual banking and economic practices, deepening their understanding of monetary policy and the role of central banking in addressing current economic issues.

On September 2, 2026, St. Peter’s College of Toril formally concluded its Buwan ng Wika celebration with a festival culmination held at the SPCT gymnasium, bringing together college students and faculty members for a day of performances, cultural appreciation, and celebration of the Filipino language.

The celebration carried the theme “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” highlighting the role of the Filipino language alongside artificial intelligence in research and access to information.

The culmination featured various performances presented by students and faculty members, showcasing their creativity, talents, and appreciation for Filipino culture and language.
