The PAPSAS Mid-Year Interactive Youth Forum was held at the Grand Menseng Hotel in Davao City on October 7โ9, 2026, bringing together student leaders from various institutions for three days of learning, collaboration, and leadership development.
Guided by the theme โ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ท๐ ๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐

๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐
๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐,โ the forum highlighted the importance of empowering young leaders to take purposeful action, promote inclusivity, and contribute to sustainable development. It also provided a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and learning from the different leadership practices and challenges of student organizations.
Representing ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ผ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ (๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐) were the governors of the College of Business Education and Governance (CBEG), College of Teacher Education (CTED), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), College of Agriculture and Related Sciences (CARS), College of Mathematics, Arts, and Sciences (CMAS), College of Information and Digital Sciences (CIDS), Sta. Cruz Extension Campus, and Sulop Extension Campus, together with the Supreme Student Council (SSC) President and Vice President.
The delegation was accompanied by ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐ ๐ป. ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ด๐จ๐ฌ๐
-๐ท๐ฌ, Coordinator for Student Development and Organization, and ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฎ. ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐ณ๐ท๐ป, Staff of Student Affairs and Services. As DSSC's Student Affairs and Services (SAS) practitioners, they provided guidance and support to the student leaders throughout the three-day gathering.
Among the delegates was ๐๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป, ๐๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ณ, who joined the DSSC delegation in this meaningful opportunity for growth and collaboration. Her participation reflects her commitment to strengthening her leadership capabilities, learning from fellow student leaders, and gaining insights that can be applied to better serve the CBEG community.
Through this experience, she gained a broader perspective on leadership and the value of collaboration in addressing the needs of student organizations. As CBEG Governor, she carries the responsibility of translating these learnings into meaningful initiatives, encouraging student participation, and fostering a college community grounded in cooperation, inclusivity, and purposeful service. This experience serves as another step toward becoming a more responsive leader committed to the students she represents.
Beyond the discussions and activities, the forum reminded the delegates that despite the different challenges faced by student councils, they share a common responsibility: to represent their students, encourage participation, and turn collective aspirations into meaningful initiatives.
