The Human Resource Management program of UM Digos College proudly congratulates our alumni, Denver John Davin, Mia Mae Mamad, and Dalvir Rhey Templa, along with their Research Adviser Ms. Princess Cole, MBA, for their recent publication in the el-Jizya: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam (P-ISSN: 2354-905X E-ISSN: 2579-6208 | Volume 14 │ Issue 1 │ 2026).

Their study, "Investigating the Association of Work Environment and Work Performance of Employees in the BPO Sector of Digos City, Philippines" examines how various workplace conditions shape employee performance in the local BPO industry. Sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kagitingan, muling binibigyang-pugay ang tapang at sakripisyo ng mga bayaning nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa kalayaan. Ang araw na ito ay nagsisilbing paalala ng katatagan ng loob sa gitna ng matinding pagsubok. Sa bawat kwento ng pakikibaka, naipapasa ang diwa ng tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan. Ito ay panahon upang alalahanin ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa at paninindigan.

Higit pa sa paggunita, ang Araw ng Kagitingan ay paanyaya rin sa bawat isa na isabuhay ang mga aral ng nakaraan. Sa simpleng paraan, maaaring maipakita ang malasakit at responsibilidad sa kapwa at sa bayan. Ang diwa ng kabayanihan ay nananatiling buhay sa bawat gawaing may layuning makabuti. Sa pagharap sa kasalukuyan, dala ang inspirasyon ng mga nagdaang bayani, patuloy na hinuhubog ang mas matatag na kinabukasan.

HeaRts to Serve 4.0: Sustaining Hope, Strengthening Hearts

Small acts of kindness can create the biggest impact, and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of that. The program was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections that went beyond simple gestures. It became more than just an act of giving - it became a shared experience. Through it all, the smiles we witnessed made everything worthwhile.

More than anything, the day showed the power of coming together for a purpose. At Haven of Hope, it wasn’t about how much was given, but the sincerity behind every effort. In the end, it’s these simple moments that leave the deepest mark.

A heartfelt thank you as well to our guest speaker, our alumnus, Mr. Manuel Mateo, CHRA, for sharing an inspiring talk that truly resonated with everyone present.
