You may process your request at the External Relations and Alumni Affairs Office (ERAAO), located at the back of the gym. Office hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐍𝐈 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 | 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢: 𝘼 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧

Not all heroes begin with power, position, or recognition.

Some begin as students, silently working hard for their dreams.

Long before he became “Attorney” and before he wore the badge of a Police Captain, 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮-𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗥𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺, was once an ordinary student at UM Digos College — driven by discipline, leadership, and a deep commitment to serve others.

As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduate, Batch 2001, he became known not only for academic dedication, but also for leadership and service. He served as Senior Class President and worked as a Student Training Assistant (STAP) at the Records and Admission Center — already proving that true leaders are formed through commitment and humility.

But for Atty. Cortes, one achievement was never the end of the journey.

He dared to dream beyond limits.

Driven by his passion to serve and protect, he pursued Criminology and eventually conquered law school — turning years of sacrifice, sleepless nights, and perseverance into success.

Today, he proudly serves as the Police Captain of Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental — carrying the values of justice, integrity, and leadership wherever he goes.

His journey speaks to every student who is still struggling, still hoping, and still fighting for their future:

Your beginnings do not define your destiny.
Your challenges do not determine your limits.
Your dreams are valid if you are willing to work for them.

From student leader to lawyer.
From dreamer to defender.
From ordinary beginnings to extraordinary impact.
