The Tau Alpha Fraternity proudly recognizes and congratulates the success of its Alphan Brother, 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘳. 𝘌𝘥𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘒𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘙. 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘵 ‘23, who has passed in the recent 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Beyond his academic success, Brod Kent has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership and service, having served as Vice President for Organizational Assets and the Academics Committee Head for the UP Alliance of Chemical Engineering Students. He also brought his technical expertise to the industry during his internship at Philippine Batteries, Incorporated.

For the end of this Grand Adventure is nowhere in sight, and the search for the Golden Fleece continues!

Tau Alpha Fraternity proudly recognizes its resident brothers who have taken their seats at the helm of student leadership at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

In the spirit of Jason and the Argonauts, these men have embarked on a quest not for personal glory, but for the collective welfare of the student body. Just as the heroes of the Argo were assembled for their unique strengths to navigate uncharted waters, these resident brothers bring their unwavering commitment to the halls of the Student Council—steering the community toward progress, inclusivity, and genuine service.

Tau Alpha proudly announces the donation of 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘀 to the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology (CEAT) in commemoration of the 𝟭𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗕 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆. These spaces are now available for student use at the 𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, and 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Tau Alpha extends its recognition to everyone who stepped up and participated in the Billiards Tournament and Dead Hang Challenge. Special thanks are also due to the organizers for a well-held February Fair and to the community for their continued support, which ensured the success of this year's booth.

Tau Alpha proudly announces the inauguration and turnover of the 𝗧𝗮𝘂 𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 (𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗖). The ceremony, graced by UPLB Chancellor Jose V. Camacho Jr. and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling, was conducted last February 19, 2026, coinciding with the University’s 117th Foundation Day.

Donated by the Jose Aliling Group, through the efforts of 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 “𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗼” 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 ’𝟲𝟱, the facility boasts 3 pickleball courts, a basketball court, bleachers, a rest area, and lighting implementations. It would serve as a recreational hub for the constituents of University, and most especially, the students of the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology.

Tau Alpha is steadfast in its commitment to its home institution and the field of engineering. It is guided by each of its members pursuit of the Golden Fleece—a pursuit, driven by the desire of being men of stout character, that extends beyond individual glory. The storied journey of Tito Aliling ’65 perfectly embodies this ideal.
