SCRIBE OF MSUMAGUINDANAO IS BACK💕

𝐁𝐘𝐂, 𝐈𝐏𝐃𝐌, 𝐒𝐒𝐂 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩

In hopes to engage youths in peace and environmental issues, the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM) and the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of MSU-Maguindanao, in partnership with the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) spearheaded a 3-day Peace and Environmental Youth Camp at MSU-Maguindanao, September 28-30.

The event was attended by 51 student delegates coming from three universities: Cotabato State University, University of Southern Mindanao Main Campus (Kabacan), and the host university, MSU-Maguindanao.

Prominent figures such as MSU-Maguindanao Chancellor Dr. Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona, IPDM Director Prof. Grant Warren D. Lu, BYC Commissioner Nasserudin D. Dunding, MP Susana S. Anayatin, DSA Directress Lo**ta P. Salazar, and representatives from the Ministry of Health attended the opening program of the said event.

One of the major activities of the camp was the tree planting. Participating campers planted trees evincing their full commitment in the protection and preservation of peace and environment in their respective communities.

The Al Qalam Institute of Ateneo de Davao University is looking for 𝐭𝐞𝐧 (𝟏𝟎) 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 of Bangsamoro Youth (18-30 years old) from 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 (𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐎𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐭, 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐮 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭) who have strong interest and passion in Social Enterprise Development and Islamic Finance.

Create a team of three (3) members and apply to be part of the Institute's 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬. This socio economic intervention to violent extremism is being supported by the New Zealand Embassy - Manila, Philippines.

The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) will provide PhP 60,000.00 per student per academic year to qualified student beneficiaries region-wide who will enroll to the BARMM Regional Priority Programs for AY 2021-22.

The AHME Scholarship Program otherwise called the “Bangsamoro IQ Scholar” is a leader grant program of the Bangsamoro Government carried out by MBHTE. AHME represents Access to Higher and Modern Education.

On July 12, 2021, the new MSU-Maguindanao logo was approved, per BOR Resolution No. 251, series of 2021.

This logo emanates light and focus on the University’s vision as the foremost trailblazer and center of development within a diverse and ever-changing region.
