๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ค๐
Following the recent earthquake that caused significant damage to Mindanao State UniversityโGeneral Santos, the MSU-Maguindanao community responded to the call for assistance by extending support to its sister campus.
With reported damages reaching approximately โฑ900 million, MSU-Maguindanao gathered available resources to help address the immediate needs of the affected community. The University provided 500 sacks of rice and 300 gallons of drinking water.
Financial assistance was also extended by various university organizations and stakeholders. The MSU-Maguindanao Cooperative (MAGIC Coin) donated โฑ30,000, the Mindanao State University Faculty Union (MINSUFAFU) contributed โฑ38,000, the Mindanao State University-Maguindanao Administrative Staff Association (MINSUMASA) provided โฑ20,000, and the Supreme Student Council (SSC) turned over โฑ60,000 in financial assistance.
On June 15, 2026, MSU-Maguindanao officials led by Chancellor Bai Hejira Nefertiti M. Limbona and represented by Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Marissa N. Parcon and Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance Madame Angelita T. Datucan, together with SSC President Rhejam M. Omar, delivered the donations to MSU-General Santos.
