The NSTP–CWTS II students of the City College of El Salvador actively participated in the Symposium on National Hazing Awareness and Prevention held on February 21, 2026. This initiative strengthens our collective commitment to uphold Republic Act No. 11053, also known as the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018, and to promote a culture of respect, safety, and accountability within our academic community.

The symposium emphasized the importance of vigilance, courage, and standing firm against all forms of violence disguised as tradition. Through meaningful discussions led by distinguished speakers and institutional leaders, students were reminded that true leadership and brotherhood are founded on integrity, empathy, and the protection of human dignity.

Aligned with CHED Memorandum Order No. 027, Series of 2026, and Proclamation No. 907, the NSTP–CWTS program proudly stands in solidarity with the observance of National Hazing Prevention Week.

Together, let us continue to foster a safe, empowered, and compassionate community.

February 21, 2026 | 9:00 AM | El Salvador City Gymnasium, Zone 1, Poblacion, El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental

In line with CHED Memorandum No. 027, Series of 2026, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 907, we join the observance of the National Hazing Prevention Week by opening meaningful conversations about respect, safety, and leadership among students.

This symposium aims to raise awareness on the realities and consequences of hazing while encouraging young people to speak up, look out for one another, and help build campuses where courage, dignity, and respect come first.

Joining us is Greg Lloyd B. Abucay, BSCrim, RCrim, (MSCJ Candidate) - a PRC-licensed Registered Criminologist and August 2025 board passer. Currently pursuing graduate studies in Criminal Justice, he advocates for community safety, criminal justice education, and youth empowerment through informed and responsible leadership.

Let’s stand together and say no to hazing.
Safe spaces create stronger leaders.

✨ NSTP SYMPOSIUM HIGHLIGHT ✨
“Disaster Preparedness: Because Safety Starts With Awareness”

Last November 29, 2025, our NSTP students gathered at the City Gymnasium for an insightful morning symposium on Disaster Preparedness, held from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.

We were honored to welcome our esteemed resource speaker, Ms. Kristine Doblas, Training Officer of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office – El Salvador City. Her expertise, engaging discussions, and real-life insights empowered our students to become more proactive, informed, and resilient community members.

🛡️ From understanding early warning signs
🚨 to learning practical response techniques
🌍 to embracing the spirit of readiness—
our students gained knowledge that could save lives.

A huge thank you to Ms. Doblas for sharing her time and wisdom, and to all NSTP students for their active participation. May we continue to build a culture of preparedness and resilience! 🙌
