A new chapter of student representation begins. ❤️‍🔥

Introducing 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 “𝗝𝗲𝘆-𝗘𝗺” 𝗖. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗶, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲 of the Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) and the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹.

More than a title, student representation serves as a bridge between the student body and the institution’s leadership. It provides a platform for bringing forward student concerns, perspectives, and aspirations in discussions concerning institutional policies, programs, and student welfare.

This role shares a similar purpose with that of a Student Regent in other higher education institutions, where student representatives participate in institutional governance and help bring student interests into decision-making processes. While both positions emphasize student representation, their specific powers and responsibilities depend on the governing policies of their respective institutions.

As the first Federated Student Trustee, Bacani marks a significant chapter in EARIST’s student representation. His role carries the responsibility of representing the collective voice of the student community and ensuring that the concerns of EARISTians remain part of the conversations that shape their academic experience and campus life.

Ultimately, representation is not simply about occupying a position. It is about carrying the voices of many, advocating for their interests, and ensuring that student leadership remains accountable to the people it serves.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀. ✊🏻

MAY GANAP? MAY GANAP!

Let's start this week with a bang! Pero teka, what's the catch?!

PART I — FLAG RAISING
6:45 AM | Barong & Filipiniana

PART II — THANKSGIVING MASS
9:00 AM

PART III — HONORING THE TEACHERS
2:00 PM | DENIM ATTIRE

Para sa Part III… TEACHERS, KAYO NAMAN ANG MAIN CHARACTER!

This one's for the educators who have survived our recitations, deadlines, questions, at ang mga ever-so-understanding sa minsan ay lame excuses natin.

So let's make October 5 a day of pride, prayer, and appreciation.

Three parts. One Monday.

See you there, EARISTians!
