𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐧𝐜 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐂𝐎𝐄

April 11, 2023 | Analog Devices, Inc (ADI), thru its representative Engr. Jonas Arnigo, conducted a university caravan to engage 3rd and 4th year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students to be immersed in the semiconductor industry and be part of ADI with its open opportunities for internship and future employment.

ADI's University Caravan is a program that promotes regular visits of ADI to various partner Universities for Recruitment, Technical Workshops and Company Talks. Employment prospects for Test Development Engineering, Test Product Engineering, Test Systems Engineering, Product Engineering and Technician positions are open.

The internship program, on the other hand, is designed to allow students be exposed to the work of an engineer. Interns will be involved on test development and product engineering work which will allow students to be exposed to the current technology of Analog Devices. This will also provide the necessary training which will allow faster and easier adjustment for the student to transition from student to industry work.

Dean Dr. Noel S. Gunay and Engr. Arnigo discussed opportunities for potential cooperation, collaboration and linkage between the College and ADI.

ADI is scheduled to return on May 2023 to proceed with the selection process. The identified students will go through technical examination and interview. Those who will qualify in the internship program will be part of their apprenticeship initiative, and those that will pass the employment requirements will be given an opportunity to work for the company upon graduation.

March 20, 2023 | The College of Engineering Council Meeting was called to order upon declaration of quorum at 10:15 AM. Meeting was presided by the Dean Dr. Noel S. Gunay and participated by members of the COE Council, with the assistance of the representative from the Registrar's Office Mr. Abdulmalik A. Ibra.

Primary agenda of the meeting: presentation, review and approval of candidates for graduation of Summer AY 2022-2023 and 2nd Semester AY 2022-2023.

University Council Meeting will be on April 5, 2023.
