3rd Year Social Work students stand in support of Republic Act No. 11596, a law that prohibits the practice of child marriage and protects the rights and future of every Filipino child.

As future social workers, we advocate for the protection, empowerment, and well-being of children. Ending child marriage is a step toward ensuring that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and pursue their dreams without being forced into early marriage.

Together, let us raise awareness and promote a safer and brighter future for the youth.

Social Work students of Stratford International School participated in an informative seminar on Adoption and Alternative Child Care led by representatives from the National Authority for Child Care (NACC) and the Regional Alternative Child Care Office (RACCO)

The seminar provided valuable insights on child protection, adoption processes, and the role of social workers in promoting the welfare and best interests of children. This experience strengthens the students’ knowledge and commitment to serve communities with compassion and dedication.

Empowering communities through knowledge and awareness!

Today, our 3rd Year Social Work students actively participated in a seminar about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). The discussion highlighted the importance of social protection, responsible parenting, and the role of the program in improving the lives of Filipino families.

This seminar strengthens our understanding as future social workers to better serve communities and advocate for sustainable development and social welfare.

3rd year Social Work students are actively participating in a seminar about the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). This seminar aims to deepen students’ understanding of social protection programs that support Filipino families in education, health, and poverty reduction. Through this learning opportunity, future social workers are gaining valuable knowledge on how government initiatives help empower communities and improve the lives of those in need.

Sa Departamento ng Mangagawang Panlipunan ng Stratford International School, kami ay nakatuon sa pagtataguyod ng kamalayan at suporta sa kalusugan ng isip sa buong taon, lalo na sa panahon ng Buwan ng Pag-iwas sa Pagpapakamatay o Su***de Prevention Month.

Naniniwala kami sa pagsira ng katahimikan at pagbuo ng katatagan sa pamamagitan ng pagsisimula ng mga makabuluhang pag-uusap, pagbibigay ng mga mapagkukunan, at paglikha ng isang ligtas at inklusibong kapaligiran para sa aming mga mag-aaral, magulang, at kawani.

Narito ang aming mga tagapayo sa paaralan at mga propesyonal sa kalusugan ng isip upang mag-alok ng suporta, gabay, at isang nakikinig na tainga. Sa bawat himig ng ating wika, naririnig ang tibok ng bayan.
Sa bawat pantig at titik, nagbubukas ang pinto ng pagkakaunawaan.
Ang Wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang kasangkapan ng pakikipag-usap,
kundi ilaw na gumagabay, tulay na nag-uugnay,
at haligi ng pagkakaisa ng sambayanan.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, ating ipagdiwang ang ating salita
wikang nagmumulat sa kaisipan, nagbubuklod sa puso,
at nagsisilbing lakas ng ating pagkatao at pagkabayani.
