🧠 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲.

This October, we recognize 𝗔𝗗𝗛𝗗 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, a time to promote compassion, understanding, empowerment, and awareness for individuals living with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Beyond the diagnosis is a person with their own experiences, strengths, challenges, and ways of living in this world. While stigma can reduce ADHD to a label or a collection of difficulties, learning more about it helps us appreciate each individual’s unique experiences and strengths. 🎨

This month, let us choose understanding over judgment, compassion over stigma, and awareness over misconceptions. Let us recognize the uniqueness and goodness each person brings to the world. 🦋

Because sometimes, a little understanding can go a long way. Let us start by listening, learning, and appreciating each other’s differences. 🤍

Participants from different college departments and academic programs shared their talents, filling the space with melodies that carried stories, emotions, and expressions of their own. 🎤

As many people gathered to watch and enjoy the performances, music became more than just a melody. It became a bridge that connected people, celebrated individuality, and reminded us that every voice deserves to be heard. 💙

A shimmer of hope appeared on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, as Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite celebrated World Mental Health Day through meaningful initiatives. More than a color that catches the eye, blue became a symbol of compassion, solidarity, and a beacon of hope for those navigating unseen thoughts. 🧠

In collaboration with the 𝗟𝘆𝗰𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗣𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 (𝗟𝗣𝗙𝗚), and the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 (𝗖𝗙𝗔𝗗), the celebration featured informative booths, an art exhibit, and the safe space for unheard voices. These interactive spaces inspired community engagement, creativity, and self-expression while promoting a safe environment where everyone could enjoy the moment, feel heard, welcomed, and free to express themselves. 🎨

Mental health is not simply a conversation for one day but a commitment to care for one another every day. Together, let us break the stigma and build a community where every heart is given the space to heal. 🌱
