𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋

Cavite State University – General Trias City Campus took part in the 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, bringing together students, faculty, and personnel in a coordinated exercise designed to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and emergency response.

Under the guidance of Mx. Dani Cabarles, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Coordinator, and in partnership with the Central Student Government, Red Cross Youth Council, and Academic League of Psychology Students, the campus community practiced the essential Drop, Cover, and Hold procedure, followed by simulations involving injured individuals and accident scenarios. These exercises provided an opportunity to put emergency response procedures into practice, emphasizing the importance of calm decision-making, coordination, immediate assistance, and care for one another during a crisis.

More than a drill, the activity reminds us that preparedness is a shared responsibility. Through practice, awareness, and teamwork, we become better prepared to protect lives when it matters most.
