While we look ahead to what lies before us, we also carry the lessons, values, and inspiration gained from the chapters that came before. These experiences continue to guide us as we embrace change with optimism, purpose, and determination.

LPU Cavite Red Cross Youth Council proudly celebrates its recognition at the PARAGON 2026 Student Leader Awards where the organization was honored with the following awards:

These awards are a reflection of the dedication, hard work, and heart that every officer, committee, and member has poured into serving both the university and the community.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of the organizations who have partnered with us, especially to the Philippine Red Cross Cavite Chapter - Silang Branch and LPU Cavite Community Outreach and Service-Learning Office, for their guidance, support, and trust throughout the year. This achievement would not have been possible without their collaboration and encouragement.

LPU-C RCYC would also like to sincerely thank the Center for Student and Cultural Affairs and the Lyceum Central Student Government for recognizing our efforts and contributions to the university and the community through the PARAGON 2026 Student Leaders Awards. Being acknowledged alongside other outstanding student organizations is both an honor and a motivation to continue creating meaningful impact through service and leadership.

Volunteerism is more than simply helping others—it is about becoming a catalyst for positive change within the community. Through every outreach, activity, and initiative, the youth are given the opportunity to inspire hope, promote compassion, and create meaningful impact through service.

We are proudly open to ALL bona fide college students of LPU Cavite, regardless of program or department. Whether you are from an allied health program or not, you are welcome to become part of the council. Being a Red Cross Youth volunteer is not defined by your program, but by your willingness to lead, help, and serve others wholeheartedly.

If you are ready to grow as a leader, strengthen your passion for service, and work alongside individuals who share the same heart for humanity, then this is your chance to step forward and serve with purpose.

NEWS | LPU-Cavite Mobilizes Student Leaders for Values-Driven Service

Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite mobilized student leaders for values-driven service through a Community Outreach and Service-Learning (CSL) initiative held on May 29, 2026, at Montvida Garden and Event Place in Amadeo, Cavite.

Student leaders from the Lyceum of the Philippines University Central Student Government (LYCESGO) and the LPU-Cavite Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC) participated in the formation program centered on volunteerism, servant leadership, and purposeful community engagement.

Rev. Fr. Alvin C. Chavez urged the participants to lead by example and reminded them that effective leaders create other leaders who are ready to serve.

Fr. Chavez emphasized that volunteerism means lending a hand with a heart, with a purpose, with others, to lead others, and to serve others.

He also connected service to biblical values and shared his experience in a medical outreach in Siargao with the Ayala Foundation, where he witnessed how volunteer work could touch lives.

Dr. Fedelyn P. Estrella emphasized the role of CSL and the community outreach process in helping student leaders turn service-learning principles into concrete action.

The activity ended with team-building street games that allowed LYCESGO and RCYC participants to practice teamwork, trust, and leadership through service.
