The program commenced with the opening remarks of Dr. Carmelita C. Labadan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who warmly welcomed everyone and shared, โIt is nice to be back home sometimes,โ acknowledging that the plenary speaker and panel members were once part of CKC. Her message set a heartfelt tone, reminding participants that research is a journey shaped by faith, identity, and purpose.
Guided seamlessly by the masters of ceremony, Jc Jane L. Olmillo and Yashavil Alexa G. Baragona, the flow of the event continued with the introduction of the plenary speaker by RES Mayor Luziel I. Ora. Dr. Hilrem L. Bayucot delivered an inspiring talk on being โPilgrims of Hope,โ emphasizing the vital role of research in an ever-evolving world. She introduced digital tools researchers can utilize and highlighted the importance of resilience, collaboration, and perseverance in producing meaningful work.
The research presentations followed, divided into four tracks featuring presenters from various programs of Christ the King College. The panel membersโPatrick Glenn Y. Sacal, LPT, MAEd-ELT; Rodgen D. Palmes, LPT, MAEd; and Shiela P. Abatayo, LPT, MAEd, served as reactors who offered sharp insights, recommendations, and thought-provoking questions. Their expertise strengthened the academic depth of each study and motivated presenters to refine their work further.
An awarding ceremony then recognized three winners for Best Research Abstract and one Best Presenter, celebrating the creativity, dedication, and hard work of CKCian researchers.
To conclude, Mr. Pericles G. Aninion, MPM, Institutional Quality Assurance Coordinator, delivered his closing remarks, highlighting the success of the congress and encouraging everyone to continue pursuing research with faith, purpose, and innovation.
The congress ended with a renewed sense of inspiration, reminding every CKCian that research is not only a requirement, but a mission to contribute meaningfully to the world.
