Preparations are underway for the University Intramurals this September and ParSU’s hosting of the 2026 Regional SCUAA in October.

Essential supplies and materials have now been delivered to support the preparation of sports venues, courts, temporary facilities, and other event-related spaces.

From the delivery of materials to the work on the ground, GSU’s in-house personnel are working to help get our facilities ready for the upcoming events.

A clean and orderly space is everyone’s responsibility.

For our first 𝐆𝐒𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐒, let’s start with something simple: 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐆𝐎 — Clean As You Go.

Whether you’re in a classroom, office, meeting room, or common area, taking a few extra moments to clean up after yourself helps keep our shared spaces comfortable, safe, and ready for the next person.

📸 A Fresh Look for Geo Rooms 1–4 and CBM Room 6

The GSU has completed the re-tiling of Geo Rooms 1 to 4 and CBM Room 6, contributing to cleaner, more functional, and more conducive learning spaces for the University community.

Project: 𝐓𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 (Geology Building and CBM Building)
Location: Geo Rooms 1–4 and CBM Room 6
Implementation: Materials (By Admin) and Labor (Pakyaw Labor)
Status: 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃

The works were undertaken through 𝘗𝘢𝘬𝘺𝘢𝘸 𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳, supporting a practical and fit-for-purpose approach to project implementation while making efficient use of available resources and labor.

The improvement is part of the University's continuing efforts to enhance its facilities, maximize existing resources, and provide better spaces for learning and academic activities.

NEXT STEP: The re-installation of the doors for the affected rooms is currently included in the GSU Maintenance Personnel's work lineup and will be undertaken as part of the succeeding maintenance activities.

Pursuant to 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐍𝐨. 𝟐𝟗𝟒, 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, please be informed that there will be temporary closure of road section from the RDE Building to Vehicle Exit Gate along Mabini Street from 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲), until further notice in connection to the Construction of GASS Building.

The closure is necessary to ensure safe and controlled construction activities, minimize potential risks and disruptions arising from the movement of construction personnel, equipment, vehicles, and materials, and safeguard ParSU students, employees, visitors, and other stakeholders within and around the construction site.

During the period of closure, the 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐄 (Front of Gymnasium) shall be opened and utilized for 𝐏𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐓 and 𝐕𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐓.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Please refrain from using the Open Field/Oval as a passageway to maintain the area in suitable condition for its intended use, including upcoming Intramurals and SCUAA activities. All vehicles parked near the Covered Court are expected to exit through the front of Academic Building, proceed around the Administration Building toward the CBM Building, turn right along the Science Building, and exit through the Belen Back Gate.

As of 10:30 am, we would like to inform everyone that we will utilize the 2 generator sets in Goa Campus due to limited power supply from CASURECO IV.

Reminder: Turn off all ACU, Refrigerator (if any), and any high wattage equipment/appliance.

We will inform once normal power is restored.
