The Office of the Chairperson will release the Results of the 2025 Bar Examinations in the afternoon of January 7, 2026. The Oath-Taking and Roll Signing Ceremonies of Successful Bar Examinees will be held on February 6, 2026.

The (SC) 𝘌𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘤, in a Resolution dated August 12, 2025, in A.M. No. 24-10-05-SC, approved the 2025 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦 138 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘵 (𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴), formally adopting electronic and regionalized Bar Exams as the standard mode of admission into the practice of law.

The 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 will take effect on November 3, 2025, following its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines.

Under the 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴, the Bar Exams shall be -

• 𝙍𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 - the Bar Exams shall take place annually in local testing centers across the Philippines as may be designated by the SC.

• 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 - while the 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 provide that the Bar Exams shall be administered electronically, the Bar examinees are nonetheless required to answer the questions personally without help from anyone.

• 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 (3) 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩:

- Third day: Criminal Law (morning), 10%; Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics, with Practical Exercises (afternoon), 25%.

The 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 likewise set the passing average of 75% in all subjects unless the SC 𝘌𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘤 determines another passing rate.

On September 14, 2025 (Sunday), the streets surrounding Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology turned into a place of joy, relief, and triumph as families, friends, and supporters gathered for the Bar Salubong 2025. ✨

After weeks of challenges and years of preparation, our bar takers finally walked out of the examination halls and welcomed with cheers, applause, banners, and tight embraces.

The BAR SALUBONG was a testament to the strength of community, the unwavering support of loved ones, and the unbreakable spirit of the examinees who have given their all in this journey. 💐

Not even the flow of incoming traffic could dampen the spirit of the moment, as families reunited and strangers exchanged warm words of congratulations and encouragement.

It was a powerful display of solidarity—a testament to the strength of community.

September 14, 2025 marks the culmination of months of preparation and dedication for this year’s bar examinees. On this final day, candidates will undertake examinations in Criminal Law during the morning session, followed by Remedial Law and Legal and Judicial Ethics in the afternoon.

In the vicinity of MSU-IIT, bar operations teams from neighboring law schools remain steadfast in their efforts, providing logistical and emotional support to examinees and their families.

A larger turnout of supporters is anticipated for the much-anticipated last-day Salubong, a symbolic and heartfelt welcome that marks the conclusion of the 2025 Bar exam week.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗦𝗨-𝗜𝗜𝗧

𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 - The third and final day of the 2025 Philippine Bar Examinations concluded Sunday at the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT). As early as dawn, various supporters from the different law schools in Northern Mindanao gathered in the nearby streets carrying placards and streamers while handing out food to the examinees to the beat of the drums and cheers from the crowds.

The scene is filled with quiet determination of the examinees mixed with the warmth of overflowing support from loved ones, classmates and professors who rally behind them as they face the final round of exams. The aspiring lawyers once again battled through four-hour tests of Criminal Law in the morning and Remedial Law, Legal Ethics, and Legal Forms in the afternoon.

By early evening, as candidates emerged from the gates of MSU-IIT, the mood shifted from anxious anticipation to relief and celebration. Examinees were greeted with applause, flowers, balloons, and chants of “Attorney!” — a familiar sight that has become tradition in every Bar season.

While the journey to the noble legal profession is not yet over, the close of the examinations marks a significant triumph. Simply enduring the grueling process of the three-day bar exams is already a victory worthy of celebration.

To our MSUan bar examinees, carry with you the message of Associate Justice and 2025 Bar Chairman Amy C. Lazaro-Javier: “My Bar is meant to pass you, not to fail you.” May your perseverance be rewarded, your dreams fulfilled, and your hearts at peace.
