The Gender and Development Center (GADC), in collaboration with the Department of Technology Teacher Education (DTTE), and in partnership with the MSU-IIT National Multi-Purpose Cooperative, proudly presents the Official Program of Activities for tomorrow’s Women’s Month Celebration 2026.

This initiative highlights a meaningful day of learning and recognition—featuring a Basic Home Electricity Training designed for mothers and out-of-school youth, aimed at equipping participants with practical, safety-focused electrical skills for everyday use.

The event will also culminate in the Awarding of Certificates to all training participants, as well as the recognition of outstanding entries in the Digital IEC Poster Making Contest.

Join us as we celebrate empowerment, resilience, and the transformative power of education in building safer and more sustainable communities.

In celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration, the Gender and Development (GAD) Office of the College of Education – MSU-IIT invites all College of Education students to participate in the Digital IEC Poster Making Contest.

Anchored on this year’s campaign “𝗪𝗘 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆” and the sub-theme “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀!”, the contest aims to highlight the strength, leadership, and contributions of Filipino women in building inclusive communities and a progressive society.

Through creative and meaningful 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗘𝗖) 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, participants are encouraged to express advocacy for 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.

𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬

Day 2 of CED Days 2026 was a celebration of excellence, dedication, and achievement. The awarding ceremony recognized the remarkable efforts, talents, and contributions of students who stood out in the various activities of the celebration.
With pride and gratitude, the College of Education honored individuals and groups whose hard work and passion brought life to this year’s festivities. Their achievements serve as a testament to the spirit of commitment, creativity, and excellence that defines the CED community.

Congratulations to all the awardees for making this celebration even more meaningful. Your success inspires the entire community to strive for greater heights. 🏆✨

𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 | 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀

Guided by a shared commitment to serve, the Department of Technology Teacher Education (DTTE), in partnership with the Student Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippines (STEP) – MSU–IIT Chapter, participated in the distribution of food packs on February 7, 2026, for families affected by Typhoon Basyang.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Team Tampars Badminton Club for initiating this outreach and for their remarkable generosity. Because of their leadership and the collective effort of volunteers and partners, assistance reached communities who needed it most. May this gesture provide comfort, restore strength, and remind everyone that even in difficult times, they are not alone.
