📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | Qualified Applicants for Interview

The College of Education officially announces the list of qualified applicants for the Interview Phase of the COE Admission Process for School Year 2026–2027.

📅 Interview Schedule: May 26–30, 2026

All qualified applicants are advised to carefully check their designated interview date and time. Specific interview venues will be posted soon.

Please be guided by the following:
• Be present at least 15 minutes before your scheduled interview
• Bring your admission slip.
• Observe proper decorum and wear appropriate attire.
• Failure to appear on your assigned schedule may result in the forfeiture of your application.

Begin your journey as an inspiring teacher at West Visayas State University College of Education—a Center of Excellence in Teacher Education!

The College welcomes eligible applicants who are passionate about shaping minds, contributing to nation-building, and becoming part of a community known for academic excellence and transformative instruction.

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆 𝗝. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

As the former Dean of the College, Dr. Andora exemplified academic excellence and compassionate leadership, playing a key role in strengthening the College of Education and nurturing future educators. Through his visionary guidance and unwavering commitment, he fostered a culture of excellence and professionalism while shaping programs, policies, and the lives of those he mentored with wisdom, humility, and a deep sense of purpose.

Dr. Andora’s legacy lives on in the countless educators he helped form, the colleagues he guided, and the principles he instilled in the academic community.

The whole COE community extends their deepest sympathies to his family, loved ones, and all who were touched by his leadership and service. May we continue to honor his memory by carrying forward the mission and values he so passionately upheld.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦. After a series of competitions among 26 institutions from across the country, University of Antique - Main Campus, emerged as the overall champion of this year’s National Edukalidad, held on March 28 at Diversion 21 Hotel in Iloilo City.

Demonstrating excellence, competitiveness and passion for teacher education, the winning institution stood out across multiple categories throughout the event.

Winners were determined using a point system, with each institution’s total points from all contest categories deciding their final ranking. Participants who did not place first or second in any category were awarded 0.5 point each

The competition featured four main events: Instructional Materials Making, Professional Education Quiz Bee, Demonstration Teaching and Research Presentation. | via Yehlette Martin
