West Visayas State University (WVSU) extends its warmest congratulations to the College of Education on being designated as a Regional Teacher Education Center of Excellence (COE) for 2026 by the Teacher Education Council (TEC).

Approved on June 3, 2026, under Republic Act No. 11713 (Excellence in Teacher Education Act of 2022), this prestigious recognition highlights the college's high standards in instruction, research, teacher preparation, and community engagement.

As a designated Center of Excellence, WVSU remains committed to leading, innovating, and collaborating to advance the quality of teacher education and the teaching profession in the Philippines.
