As part of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) Recognition and Donning Ceremony 2026, guest speaker Engr. Krizelle Anne C. Corbal shared an inspiring message to the graduating class at the ISAT U Multipurpose Educational Center on June 17.

A proud product of the institution, Engr. Corbal reminded graduates to value the people who helped shape their journey, saying, โ€œThe people around you are the ones who engineer yourself so that you can engineer your future.โ€

She also emphasized that their hard hats, hoods, and pins symbolize more than academic achievementโ€”they represent years of sacrifice, perseverance, and growth.

A student leader from the Iloilo Science and Technology University has been recognized as one of the Top 40 Finalists of the 5th Batch of the Outstanding Student Leaders of the Philippines (OSLP).

Christian P. Jaud, Bachelor of Science in Architecture student and College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) Governor, earned the distinction for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence, bringing pride to the university community.

Aside from his role as CEA Governor, Jaud also serves as Associate Editor of The Signal, further highlighting his active involvement in student journalism and campus leadership.

He is currently awaiting the final interview stage of the OSLP selection process.

Newly licensed engineers who passed the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE) was honored at the TLE Center on May 26 for a Testimonial Program celebrating their achievement and inspiring future board examinees.

During the event, the passers shared their experiences, struggles, and lessons throughout their review journey. They highlighted the importance of discipline, perseverance, time management, and faith in overcoming challenges during board exam preparation.

The speakers also encouraged aspiring engineers to remain determined and trust the process despite difficulties and pressure.
