SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND OFFICE OPERATIONS

Due to the inclement weather brought about by Super Typhoon Uwan, face to face classes in all levels are suspended on November 10 and 11, 2025 as per Memorandum Circular No. 106 by the Office of the President and Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas.

Alternative delivery modes of learning will be implemented. Deans and Principal are to monitor learning outputs as well as coordinate make-up classes as needed.

Office work is also suspended tomorrow Nov 10, 2025 but will resume on Tuesday, Nov 11, 2025.

In view of the anticipated impact of Typhoon Tino, face-to-face classes at all levels shall remain suspended Tuesday, November 4 and Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Alternative learning modes will be implemented and all Deans and Principal are to monitor learning outputs.

Programs with Related Learning Experience (RLE) and clinical duties under faculty supervision will be at the direction of the respective Deans and their affiliate agencies.

Office and administrative units will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

A skeletal workforce from the Buildings and Grounds, Maintenance and Security offices will be onsite to safeguard the campuses.

Please remain alert and monitor official advisories.

SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

Following the directive from the City Mayor due to Tropical Storm Tino, face-to-face classes at all levels are suspended tomorrow, November 3, 2025.

Classes will proceed through alternative learning modes (online, asynchronous, or modular). All Deans and the Principal are requested to strictly monitor the implementation of these alternative modes and submit monitoring reports to the Office of Academic Affairs.

Programs with Related Learning Experience (RLE) and clinical duties under faculty supervision will be at the direction of the respective Deans.

Office operations will continue.

Employees who may not be able to report for work due to the weather disturbances should file the necessary leave with the HRDO.

Iloilo Doctors’ College – College of Arts and Sciences proudly celebrates Ms. Arianne Leigh Segovia, who secured 7th place in the October 2025 Board Licensure Examination for Psychometricians. Accompanied by Dean Janice L. Amarante and Ms. Nelifer Grace Montoya, Ms. Segovia received a Certificate of Recognition from Vice Mayor Love Baronda in honor of this remarkable achievement.

The second day was a celebration of culture, creativity, and unity. From powerful Filipino literary pieces to electrifying street dance performances, CAS once again proved that excellence knows no limits. The Hinampang concluded with hearts full of pride — still, and always, One Heart for CAS.

𝗖𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀. 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀.

The platform transforms into a pulsating stage as dancers from different colleges clash, spin, defy gravity, and bring the heat during the annual celebration of Iloilo Doctors' College Hinampang 2025, with the theme: “Stage and Podium: One Ground for Glory, One Heart for IDC, held at IDC BED Gymnasium, September 30. Every step reverberates with raw passion that blurs the line between art and athleticism. With their Tribal instinct, they ground the podium–so fierce and powerful as fire, unleashing the warrior within them. The air crackles with energy as crews from the College of Arts and Sciences battle not just for titles, but for pride, legacy, and the love of grind.

From intricate footwork to jaw-dropping freezes of CAS-ayawan, the stage floor becomes a work of art. Living the Mantra: 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐚-𝐂𝐀𝐒, 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐬! Raising the yellow banner up high! The crowd’s cheers echoed throughout the podium as their respective dancers grooved their moves out of the title. But the competition isn’t just about winning. It’s a celebration of culture—a language spoken through grind, rhythm, and unshakable grit. Dancers from all colleges unite, proving the streets don’t discriminate; they inspire.

And behind every warrior, there was a great story within them. “Our training is really challenging, so we need to rest properly. We have to pick up quickly the choreography, memorize the steps, and fully embody the music. They even made us sing along to the audio so we could internalize the rhythm even with our eyes closed. During our entire training, our relationship grew closer and stronger too.” One of the dancers said. “As a first-year and a freshman, joining the dance crew has always been my dream. I joined because dancing has always been my passion. Despite knowing how exhausting it is, I am willing to commit to this role, even if it means dancing through storms.” Frheane added.

“I am very thankful to our trainers, to the staff, to the whole CAS community who are always there; they never left us behind and stayed attentive to everything we need.”

As the bass fades and the last battle crowns a champion, one truth remains: street dance defines revolution. And to the CAS-ayawan, you are the movement. Every spin and power scream CAS pride, proving creativity runs in us. And the streets? They’ll always have the final say. 🎧💥 Drop the beat. Own the street, CASimanwas.
