The West Visayas State University College of Agriculture and Forestry (WVSU CAF) has once again brought pride to the University after ranking Top 2 among the top-performing schools in the October 2025 Foresters Licensure Examination, as released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Oct. 21, 2025.
WVSU CAF also proudly celebrates the achievements of its graduates, Jade Micah Lebuna Bangeles, who ranked 5th nationwide with a rating of 93.50%, and Bobby Jamili Maderse, who placed 6th with a rating of 93.35%.
WVSU CAF posted an 87.50% passing rate, with 49 passers out of 56 examinees, reaffirming its strong reputation for excellence in forestry education and research.
The PRC announced that 1,471 out of 2,054 examinees passed the licensure examination given by the Board for Foresters in various testing centers nationwide, including Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao.
These accomplishments reflect the Universityโs continued commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and environmental stewardship, consistent with its mission to produce globally competitive and socially responsible professionals.
