OPENING CEREMONY AND CHANGE OF COMMAND A.Y. 2026–2027

The Cavite State University – Imus ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Opening Ceremony and Change of Command for Academic Year 2026–2027 on October 18, 2026, at Cavite State University – Imus City Campus.

The momentous occasion marked the official opening of another training year for the Basic and Advanced ROTC cadets, as well as the formal transition of leadership from the outgoing to the incoming Cadet Corps Commander. This significant event symbolizes the continuity of leadership, the acceptance of new responsibilities, and the commitment to uphold the core values of patriotism, discipline, integrity, and service.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of LTC NORREL C ALOG OS (GSC) PA Acting Provincial- Task Force Commander, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. His presence and inspiring message served as a reminder to the cadets of their responsibility to become disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented individuals.

The event was also attended by the NSTP Coordinator, training staff, proud parents, and cadets, whose presence and support contributed to the success and significance of the occasion. Their participation reflected the strong partnership among the institution, the ROTC Unit, families, and the military training personnel in developing future leaders and responsible Filipino citizens.

The successful conduct of the ceremony was made possible under the supervision of CPT SHERWIN E JANDA INF PA (RES), Commandant of the CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit, with the dedication, cooperation, and collective efforts of the training staff and cadets.

As the incoming leadership assumes its responsibilities, may this new chapter inspire every cadet to lead with courage, serve with integrity, and remain committed to the ideals of the ROTC program. May the outgoing leadership carry forward the lessons and experiences gained throughout their service, while the incoming leadership continue to strengthen the legacy of excellence, camaraderie, and commitment within the unit.

Congratulations to the outgoing and incoming Cadet Corps Commanders. May this transition of command serve as a foundation for stronger leadership, greater unity, and continued excellence in the service of the university and the nation.

The CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit successfully participated in the Basic First Aid Training held on October 15, 2026. The activity aimed to enhance the cadets’ knowledge and preparedness in responding to emergency situations, equipping them with essential first aid skills and the confidence to provide immediate assistance when needed.

Throughout the training, participants learned proper bandaging techniques, appropriate responses to injuries, and the basic procedures for performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This activity strengthened their sense of discipline, responsibility, and commitment to serving and helping others, especially in times of emergency.

The unit was represented by one (1) 2CL Cadet Officer and two (2) COQC Cadets, who actively participated in the training and demonstrated their willingness to learn and serve.

BSOA ANGAT AWARDS

The CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit successfully rendered service and duty during the second day of the BSOA ANGAT Awards on 15 October 2026 at Cavite State University – Imus City Campus.

The activity commenced with the Entrance of Colors, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, a doxology presentation, and inspirational messages from the event's distinguished speakers. The program continued with an intermission number and an awarding ceremony recognizing the achievements and accomplishments of deserving students through the presentation of certificates and medals. The event formally concluded with the Exit of Colors.

Through active participation and dedicated service, the ROTC cadets demonstrated discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to duty, contributing to the orderly and successful conduct of the event.

The activity was led by the C/MAJ FRANCIS ADRIAN P DELIGERO 2CL, Incoming Executive Officer, together with the Incoming 2CL Cadet Officers, Alumni, and COQC, under the supervision of CPT SHERWIN E JANDA INF PA (RES), Commandant of the CvSU–Imus ROTC Unit.

The duty officially concluded at exactly 1220H without any reported incidents, reflecting the unit's continued dedication to service and support for university activities.

11 OCTOBER 2026 | 2ND TRAINING DAY

The Cavite State University–Imus ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 2nd Training Day at the Cavite State University–Imus City Campus.

The activity commenced with the checking of attendance and proper bearing of cadets, followed by the accounting of troops. These activities ensured proper accountability and reinforced discipline and military bearing among the cadets.

The training featured discussions on AFP Core Values and Rank Insignia, presented by PFC Vince Joshua D Sicam PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant, and Military Courtesy and Discipline, facilitated by PFC Marione Margaret P Fronda PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant. A quiz was conducted after the discussions to assess and reinforce the cadets’ understanding of the topics presented.

The cadets and training personnel also conducted a dry run for the upcoming Donning of Ranks ceremony. The rehearsal focused on familiarizing the participants with the sequence of activities, proper formations, coordination, and ex*****on of their assigned roles to ensure the orderly conduct of the ceremony.

Through the dedication and cooperation of the cadets and training personnel, the 2nd Training Day was successfully completed, further strengthening the cadets’ military knowledge, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to their training.

04 OCTOBER 2026 | 1ST TRAINING DAY

The Cavite State University–Imus ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 1st Training Day at the Cavite State University–Imus City Campus.

The activity commenced with the checking of attendance and proper bearing of cadets, followed by discussions and practical instruction on proper military bearing and basic drills. The cadets were guided in developing discipline, coordination, and proper military customs and courtesies as part of their initial training.

The ROTC Orientation was conducted to provide the cadets with essential knowledge regarding the grading system, proper bearing, and the roles and responsibilities of the Training Staff and Cadet Officers. The orientation also included an introduction to the organization of the Philippine Army, discussed by Sgt Miguel Carlo DP Palado PA (RES).

The cadets were further oriented on AFP History, including the functions of the Philippine Army, Headquarters Philippine Army (HPA) organization, personal and coordinating staffs, and combat units. A short assessment was also conducted to reinforce their understanding of the topics discussed by 1LT MARLON Q MARTINEZ OS PA (RES) Assistant Commandant of Cavite State University–Imus ROTC Unit.

The successful conduct of the training was made possible through the participation of Training Staff, alumni, and Cadet Officers, who contributed to the proper ex*****on of the day’s activities.
