📢 LAST CALL FOR APPLICATIONS | Computing Aptitude Test (CAT)

The College of Computing Studies (CCS) is now accepting the last batch of applications for the Computing Aptitude Test (CAT) for incoming BS Information Technology (BSIT) and BS Computer Science (BSCS) students.

Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the College of Computing Studies (CCS) and look for Ms. Reezamie S. Sangkula for application assistance.

Please also refer to the "What to Bring" advisory and ensure that all required documents are complete before visiting the office.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | List of Qualified BSIT and BSCS Enrollees

The College of Computing Studies (CCS) is pleased to release the Official List of Qualified Enrollees for the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) programs for the current admission period.

Applicants whose names appear on the Official List of Qualified Enrollees may now proceed with the enrollment process according to the prescribed schedule and enrollment procedures.

Congratulations to all qualified enrollees, and thank you to all applicants for your interest in becoming part of the College of Computing Studies.

💻 Computing Aptitude Test 2026 Successfully Concluded

The College of Computing Studies (CCS) has successfully concluded the Computing Aptitude Test (CAT) 2026 for incoming first-year students of the BS Information Technology (BSIT) and BS Computer Science (BSCS) programs on July 14-15, 2026.

This year's CAT marked a significant milestone as the College officially implemented its first-ever computerized and digital aptitude examination system, replacing the traditional paper-based assessment. The examination portal was developed by this year's Programmer of the Year, Mr. Rickymar Ajijul, together with his thesis team under the direct supervision of Mr. Jonel Alibasa, MIT.

The College extends its sincere appreciation to all applicants, proctors, panel members, faculty, staff, and the Technical Team whose dedication contributed to the successful conduct of the examination.

This initiative reflects CCS's continued commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable academic practices. Through the steadfast support and leadership of our Dean, Datu Al-Mujiv A. Kiram, MIT, the College continues to strengthen quality computing education while embracing technology to prepare future computing professionals.

This activity is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, by promoting equitable access to quality education through innovative and technology-driven assessment.

After a series of consecutive activities, the faculty members of the College of Computing Studies took a well-deserved opportunity to unwind, relax, and recharge.

This meaningful gathering strengthened camaraderie, promoted well-being, and reflected the faculty’s shared commitment to teamwork, unity, and a positive workplace environment.
