‎On May 11 & 12, 2026, the ACC BS Accountancy Program along with the ACC-JPIA held its 2-Day Accounting Workshop at ACC Mabasa Campus. The workshop focused specifically on teaching targeted topics to the students to enhance their knowledge, strengthen their technical skills, and provide a deeper understanding of core accounting principles. Day 1 began with a lecture from the resource persons, teaching and sharing specific accounting topics with the students, which seamlessly continued into Day 2 with further enriching lectures.

‎The success of this accounting workshop was made possible through the invaluable support of our distinguished resource persons, who generously shared their knowledge and professional expertise with the participants. On December 4, 2025, the Aklan Catholic College BS Accountancy Programs along with the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (ACC-JPIA) held Day 2 of the Enhancement Program and Accounting Session at ACC Mabasa Campus Top Deck Phase 4.

Mr. Melvin Lloyd R. Limheya, CPA, MBA led the first-year BSA students through basic lectures and essential foundational concepts throughout the morning session. In the afternoon, assisted by Mr. Hilario G. Tan, second-year and third-year BSA students revisited previously challenging topics, helping them strengthen their understanding as an important step towards mastery and confidence in their CPA journey.

To honor his valuable contribution, a token and certificate of appreciation was given to Mr. Limheya by ACCJPIA Adviser and BSA Program Coordinator, Mr. Jayson S. Noble together with ACCJPIA President Ms. Maegan Reine P. Reyes.

As they concluded the session, Mr. Limheya and Mr. Tan emphasized the importance of learning step by step and reminded JPIAns that meaningful progress is built through consistent effort and a solid understanding of the basics.

By strengthening their foundations early on, JPIAns are better equipped to handle more advanced challenges with confidence and a stronger sense of direction towards future success.

The Aklan Catholic College BS Accountancy Programs along with the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (ACC-JPIA) officially opened the Enhancement Program and Accounting Session on December 3, 2025, at the ACC Mabasa Campus JPIA Library.

Day 1 began with a lecture led by Mr. Melvin Lloyd R. Limheya, CPA, MBA, together with Mr. Hilario G. Tan, who guided the 4th Year BSA students in revisiting the basics and solidifying their foundational knowledge of accounting.

This marks the beginning of a series of educational initiatives intended to improve learning, enhance preparedness and assist future CPAs at Aklan Catholic College.
