Strengthening Discipline, Teamwork, and Camaraderie!

The MSU-SND ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 7th Regular Training Day, highlighting the active participation, cooperation, and commitment of ROTC cadets in every training activity.

The training began with QR code attendance checking, followed by a preliminary examination to assess the cadets' knowledge and understanding of previously discussed lessons. The cadets then participated in a refresher on the Manual of Arms and performed Pasulong with R***e, demonstrating coordination, discipline, and teamwork through synchronized movements and proper military bearing.

Through active participation and collective effort, the cadets strengthened their ability to work together, follow commands, and support one another in accomplishing training objectives. Their dedication reflects the importance of unity, discipline, and cooperation in developing responsible student leaders and future defenders of the nation.

Selected officers and personnel from 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝟵 (𝗧𝗢𝗚 𝟵), 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗔𝗙) visited the Mindanao State University–Sultan Naga Dimaporo (MSU-SND) on October 21, 2026, to conduct the 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺.

Headquartered at Kuta Major Cesar L. Sang-an in Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, the PAF-TOG 9 team conducted the forum as part of ongoing institutional engagements promoting youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and national security awareness within academic communities.

The visiting delegation was led by 𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟 𝐌. 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐚 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (ADGC, TOG9) and 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐉𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐑. 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐨 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (DCMO). The forum feature lectures delivered by 𝐒𝐒𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐨 𝐁. 𝐀𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (NCOIC CMO) and 𝐀𝟏𝐂 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐑. 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐀𝐅 (WPS Lecturer), alongside support team members managing event registration, communications, multimedia coverage, and security operations.

As part of their community outreach and support for campus cleanliness, PAF-TOG 9 also 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗻𝘀 bearing the Philippine Air Force markings to MSU-SND.

Through this collaborative partnership with PAF-TOG 9, MSU-SND reinforces its commitment to fostering a safe, informed, and peaceful learning environment that empowers students as active partners in peace and regional development.

All cadets must wear the prescribed ROTC training uniform and observe the following grooming standards.

🔹 Hair must be neatly secured in a clean bun with a hairnet.
🔹 Wear appropriate black pants; ripped or tattered jeans are prohibited.

🔹 Colored hair, make-up, and unnecessary accessories are not allowed.
🔹 Fingernails must be clean and properly trimmed.

Military training demands discipline, respect, and accountability. Every cadet is expected to uphold the following standards:

🔹 PUNCTUALITY: Be at the designated training area before 0730H. Late reporting must be avoided.
🔹 MILITARY COURTESY: Address uniformed personnel as “Sir” or “Ma’am” and show proper respect at all times.
🔹 DISCIPLINE: Maintain proper formation, military bearing, and decorum throughout the training.
🔹 ATTENTIVENESS: Avoid unnecessary conversations, horseplay, and disruptive noise.
🔹 GADGET POLICY: Cellphone and gadget use during training is prohibited unless authorized.
🔹 OBEDIENCE: Follow lawful instructions from the ROTC Training Staff and Cadet Officers.
🔹 TEAMWORK: Cooperate with fellow cadets and contribute to an orderly and successful training day.

The MSU-SND ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 6th Regular Training Day on October 10, 2026, at Purok 2, Ramain, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte.

The training commenced with attendance checking through QR code scanning via the ROTCMIS, ensuring efficient and systematic attendance monitoring of participating ROTC cadets. This was followed by a rank inspection to assess the cadets’ proper wearing of uniforms, military bearing, and adherence to prescribed standards.

The cadets then proceeded to field instruction, which focused on refreshing their knowledge and ex*****on of Basic Harapan and continuing their training on the Manual of Arms. These activities reinforced discipline, precision, coordination, and proper military bearing.

Following the field instruction, Sgt Jun Avrilagne C Cantila PA (Res) facilitated a classroom instruction on 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, familiarizing cadets with the customs, traditions, courtesies, and proper conduct expected of military personnel.

Subsequently, Sgt KC Diana B Diapera PA (Res) conducted a classroom instruction on 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, emphasizing the importance of discipline, integrity, respect, responsibility, and patriotism in shaping cadets into responsible citizens and future reservists.

Through these comprehensive training activities, the MSU-SND ROTC Unit continues to develop cadets’ military knowledge, discipline, leadership, and character, preparing them to serve the nation with honor and dedication.
