Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) announces that all classes are suspended today, October 10, 2025. However, regular office operations will remain open to continue administrative transactions and services.

Students are advised to stay safe and stay updated through official NDMU communication channels.

NDMU Community: Pilgrims of Hope for Humanity and Creation

The Notre Dame of Marbel University has been joyfully celebrating its presence and purpose since 1946.

Today, October 3, 2024, NDMU proudly commemorates its 78th year of being an academic institution that truly commits to care for humanity and creation.

May the Marist Brothers, OND Sisters, administrators, faculty, staff, alumni, students, parents, and all NDMU stakeholders continue to uphold the integrity of creation, respect for identity and diversity of the Mulusiyano (Muslim, Lumad, Kristiyano), and the Marist family spirit as one NDMU community journeying together as pilgrims of hope towards better future, more meaningful life, and more sustainable environment.

The Notre Dame of Marbel University has been granted AUTONOMOUS STATUS by the Commission on Higher Education with a validity period of three years (2024-2027). This is as per CHED Memorandum Order No. 7 Series of 2024.

NDMU is one of the 77 PHEIs that were granted this status. On the other hand, 15 PHEIs were granted Deregulated Status.

The grant covers the performance and achievement of the PHEIs from July 1, 2019 to September 15, 2023.

As per CHED Memorandum Order No. 6 Series of 2023, the prerequisites and criteria for the grant of Autonomous and Deregulated Status are the following:

2. Institutional Quality Assurance
3. Tradition of Integrity and Untarnished
Reputation
4. Minimum Faculty Qualifications

Criteria
1. Commitment to Program Excellence
2. Excellence in Instruction, Scholarly Works, and Community Engagement
