Join us BAYAWS, as we celebrate this year's ABE week, organized by the PSABE-PPG, BSU chapter, with the theme “Engineers in Action: Cultivating Brilliance, Planting Seeds of Fellowship, and Powering Progress Together." This week aims to foster inclusivity, engagement, academic commitment, camaraderie, and volunteerism in the hearts of our BAYAW students through interactive yet academically aligned games, socialization, income-generating projects, and many more.

DID YOU KNOW? Through the Presidential Proclamation No. 399 s. 1989, issued by President Corazon C. Aquino, the last week of April each year is declared as Agricultural Engineering Week (now Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Week). Through this, we are inviting you to get involved as we celebrate and acknowledge the potentials of our pre-professional members here at BSU.

📢HEADS UP mga BAYAWS!!📢
𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | The Office of the University President released Administrative Order No. 29, series of 2026, adopting a Four-Day Onsite Workweek with Friday designated as a common off-site workday or non-workday.

Regular class schedules for Mondays to Thursdays will be observed, while classes for Fridays will switch to an alternative learning mode.

However, on-site activities such as laboratory classes and Related Learning Experience (RLE) activities will follow the regular schedules on Fridays.

This is because the Benguet State University (BSU) faculty will adopt only the Friday-work from-home (WFH) setup.

Meanwhile, non-teaching personnel may pick from the two options of work arrangement, namely Compressed Workweek (CWW) where staff will report from Mondays to Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. as core working hours, or the aforementioned Friday WFH setup where they will work in the regular schedule.

This is in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 issued by the Office of the President, directing government agencies, including State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), to adopt energy conservation measures and flexible work arrangements.

Energy consumption measures are implemented due to the looming problem of the country's decreasing oil supply from the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz, a few days after Israel and the United States attacked Iran.

For more information and clarification regarding the Four-Day Onsite Workweek implementation, kindly visit the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).
