KING'S COLLEGE OF THE PHILIPPINES OFFICIAL ADVISORY

September 10, 2026 (Thursday)
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 133 issued by the Presidential Communications Office, FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES in ALL LEVELS are suspended. In anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

Students are advised to stay at home during the suspension, in accordance with existing municipal ordinances and anti-truancy regulations.

The King's College of the Philippines reminds everyone to remain vigilant, prioritize safety, and take the necessary precautions against flooding, landslides, and other hazards caused by the continuous heavy rainfall.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

In compliance with Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 134, King’s College of the Philippines – Benguet announces the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels on September 4, 2026.

This measure is being implemented due to the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the poor air quality caused by haze from forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

King’s College of the Philippines is deeply honored and grateful to receive the Blood Services Platinum Award, Plaque of Commendation and Diploma of Service from the Philippine Red Cross during the Blood Donors Month Celebration held on August 27, 2026, at the La Trinidad Municipal Gymnasium.

The awards were received on behalf of the KCP volunteer blood donors by Dr. Angeline T. Bugtong, Executive Vice President, and Ms. Kenesa Espada, School Nurse.

This recognition is a meaningful affirmation of KCP’s continuing commitment to volunteerism, compassion, community service, and the preservation of human life.

Every drop of blood brings hope to a patient, comfort to a family, and a second chance at life. Giving Blood, Giving Hope, Giving Life!

As an institution committed to service, King’s College of the Philippines assures the Philippine Red Cross of our full support and commitment to its humanitarian advocacy.
