‎𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗗𝗖; Haligi sa Likod ng 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔
‎
‎Ang matagumpay na pagtatapos ng 𝗥𝗦𝗖𝗧-𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝟯𝟭-𝟯𝟮 at 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝟰𝟭-𝟰𝟮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 na ginanap sa Mabato-Bato, Lamut, Ifugao ay patunay ng patuloy na dedikasyon ng mga Community Defense Centers (CDCs) sa paghubog ng mga lider na may disiplina, kahusayan, at diwa ng paglilingkod.

‎Sa kabuuan ng pagsasanay, ang 𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗖𝗗𝗖) ay nagsilbing matibay na sandigan ng mga opisyal na namuno sa kani-kanilang klase. Kabilang dito si 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗘 𝗣 𝗥𝗨𝗕𝗘𝗡 𝟮𝗖𝗟 Presidente ng 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝟰𝟭-𝟰𝟮 "𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚" at si 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝟮𝗟𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗞𝗨𝗥𝗧 𝗣 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗡 𝟯𝗖𝗟, Presidente ng 𝗥𝗦𝗖𝗧-𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝟯𝟭-𝟯𝟮 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 "𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔.” Pareho silang nagmula sa 𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗗𝗖 at mga estudyante rin ng 𝗜𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗜𝗙𝗦𝗨), na nagsilbing pundasyon ng kanilang disiplina at pamumuno.

‎Kasama rin nila si 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗞𝗘𝗜𝗡 𝗕 𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝗖𝗟, bilang 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁-𝗮𝘁-𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚, at si 𝗖𝗗𝗧 𝟮𝗟𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗟 𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗢𝗟𝗔 𝟯𝗖𝗟, bilang 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔. Ang kanilang naging ambag ay nagpanatili ng kaayusan, maayos na koordinasyon, at disiplina sa loob ng buong pagsasanay. Sa kanilang sama-samang gampanin, nabuo ang isang pamunuan na nagtaguyod ng pagkakaisa, pananagutan, at propesyonalismo sa hanay ng mga trainee.

‎Ang tagumpay ng 𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔 ay hindi lamang bunga ng indibidwal na pagsisikap kundi ng sama-samang pagtutulungan na ginabayan ng mga lider na handang maglingkod. Bilang mga class officer, ginampanan nila ang tungkuling lampas sa kanilang posisyon,naging huwaran ng disiplina, katatagan, at tunay na pamumuno.

‎Sa pagtatapos ng pagsasanay, ang tagumpay ng dalawang klase ay sumasalamin sa mga pagpapahalaga at prinsipyong liderato na hinubog ng 𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿. Sa patuloy na paggabay ng mga opisyal at trainee nito, nananatiling haligi ang 1404th CDC sa paghubog ng mga susunod na lider na handang maglingkod nang may dangal, disiplina, at integridad.

‎Sa huli, ang kuwento ng 𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗚 at 𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔 ay higit pa sa pagtatapos ng isang pagsasanay, ito ay patunay ng pamumunong hinubog ng paglilingkod, pinatatag ng pagkakaisa, at patuloy na pinaiigting ng gabay ng 𝟭𝟰𝟬𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿.

‎𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 // 1404th CDC and IFSU ROTC Joins 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙖 𝙀𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖 2026
‎
‎On 03 June 2026, the 1404th Community Defense Center (CDC), under the supervision of Cpl Jordan A Aowing (Inf) PA , participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Alupapan Integrated School, located in Lamut, Ifugao.
‎
‎In support of this nationwide initiative, personnel from the 1404th CDC, together with the Advance ROTC Cadets of Ifugao State University Main Campus Advance ROTC, actively participated in the repainting and beautification of school facilities and classrooms. The ROTC contingent was led by C/CPT BULLONG 1CL and C/CPT RUBEN 1CL, who supervised and coordinated the cadets throughout the activity.
‎
‎Through their collective efforts, the participants helped improve the school's physical environment, making it more welcoming, conducive to learning, and ready for the opening of classes. This activity reflects the commitment of the 1404th CDC and ROTC cadets to community service, volunteerism, and nation-building through the spirit of bayanihan.

"𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡 '𝗬𝗔𝗡"

‎Mga linyang laging naririnig.
‎Mga linyang ibig sanang hindi marinig.
‎Mga linyang hindi nararapat pakinggan.
‎
‎Mga linyahang nagmumula sa mga nilalang na hindi man lamang naranasang tumindig sa ilalim ng sikat ng araw, humakbang nang may disiplina, magpatakda kahit may iniinda, lumunok ng yabang, at magsakripisyo para sa bayan.
‎
‎Madaling sabihin ang salitang "lang" kapag hindi mo pa naranasang pagdaanan ang mga hamon, pagod, at aral na kaakibat nito.
‎
‎Para sa kanila, ROTC lang naman 'yan.'
‎
‎Ngunit para sa amin, hindi ito "lang."
‎
‎Isa itong disiplina.
‎Isa itong tungkulin.
‎Isa itong karangalan.
‎Isa itong paglilingkod.
‎At isa itong tatak na dala namin saan man kami dalhin ng tadhana.
‎
‎Sapagkat maaaring matapos ang isang araw ng pagsasanay, ngunit hindi natatapos doon ang mga aral na natutunan.
‎
‎Ang pagod ay nawawala, ang mga yapak ay nabubura, ngunit ang disiplina, dangal, at paglilingkod na itinanim ng ROTC ay nananatili habambuhay.
‎
‎Kaya ikaw, Freshman, ano pa ang hinihintay mo?
‎
‎Mag-ROTC ka hindi lamang para sa uniporme o grado, kundi para sa disiplina, tungkulin, karangalan, at pagmamahal sa bayan.
‎
‎Huwag basta maniwala sa mga salitang naririnig.
‎Mas kilalanin mo ito sa pamamagitan ng sariling karanasan.
‎
‎Dahil ang tunay na kahulugan ng ROTC ay hindi matatagpuan sa sabi-sabi...kundi sa mismong pagtindig, pagganap, at paglilingkod.

LAMUT, IFUGAO – The Ifugao State University conducted the Joint Closing Ceremony of ROTC and CWTS on 30 April 2026 at the Open Gymnasium, IFSU-Lamut Campus, Nayon, Lamut, Ifugao, marking the culmination of training and the recognition of outstanding achievements of cadets and students.

The ceremony formally opened with the entrance of colors led by C/LTC RAYE D PUGONG 1CL, followed by the mass singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the IFSU Hymn.

The activity was graced by Dr. Eva Marie Codamon–Dugyon, University President, together with COL OSCAR B BALIGNASAY JR INF (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 14RCDG, RCPA; LTC ROBERT B MANGYAO GSC PA (Res), Commander of 14RRIBn; Mr. Nathaniel F Dimog, Campus Executive Director; Dr. Leudane L Loñez, NSTP Director; MAJ ROMEL T MALING (CE) PA, IFSU ROTC Unit Commandant; and Engr. Arnold K Boknog, Head Officer of PDRRM–Ifugao.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the awarding of honors to deserving cadets for their outstanding performance during RAATI 2026. For the Admin Inspection Award, garnering a score of 98.88%, C/LTC CECILE C DUG-A 1CL, Corps S1 of IFSU ROTCU–Lamut Campus, received the award. For the Disassembly and Assembly of Weapon garnering a score of 100%, CDT JACKY BETH C PADJIO was recognized. For the Ceremonial Parade, garnering a score of 99.70%, C/COL JULIAN CLAIRE S CABUDOL 1CL, Corps Commander, received the award. For Map Reading, garnering a score of 100%, C/LTC STERLEE N BINWAG 1CL, received the award. For the Comprehensive Examination, garnering a score of 99.60%, C/LTC CHERUB JOY A LITTUCO 1CL, received the award.

The awarding of the Championship Trophy for RAATI 2026 was also conducted, where the IFSU ROTC Unit achieved a rating of 99.1%, the highest among State Universities and Colleges across the Cordillera region.

Dr. Eva Marie Codamon–Dugyon as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, expressed deep appreciation and pride for the cadets and students. She highlighted that their success was not only based on their performance but also on their perseverance, discipline, and dedication throughout their training. She also emphasized that this batch holds a special place as the last ROTC and CWTS group she would witness during her term as University President. She reminded the cadets to carry the values they have learned and continue to serve with integrity, resilience, and commitment.

The ceremony concluded successfully, celebrating not only the completion of ROTC and CWTS programs but also the remarkable achievement of the IFSU ROTC Unit as the RAATI 2026 Overall Champion, reflecting excellence, discipline, and service.
