𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 | "𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘶𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘰𝘭 𝘴𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘱, 𝘛𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘢𝘨-𝘢𝘴𝘢"

The SFAC K-10 Department successfully conducted the storytelling activity entitled “𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐰𝐢𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧” with the theme "𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐮𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩, 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐚𝐬𝐚" on July 13, 2026, as part of its commitment to promoting literacy, creativity, and values formation among Franciscan learners.

The story telling was facilitated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐨, 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘰𝘺𝘰𝘵𝘢 𝘉𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘢𝘯-𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢ñ𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘦, who shared the inspiring story behind “𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐰𝐢𝐬”. Through his book, he highlighted the importance of dreaming big, showing courage in the face of challenges, and holding on to hope despite life's difficulties.

Through activities like this, the SFAC K-10 Department continues to nurture lifelong learners by cultivating literacy, imagination, resilience, and Franciscan values among every learner.

Disaster Preparedness Seminar | July 3, 2026

The SFAC K-10 Department conducted a Disaster Preparedness Seminar on July 3, 2026, with the goal of strengthening the awareness, readiness, and safety consciousness of Franciscan learners.

The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Joe Ace P. Ordoñez, EMI, Operations and Warning Section Staff, and Mr. Reynand B. Manzano II, Training Section Staff, both from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) of Las Piñas City.

The resource speakers discussed important topics on hazards and disasters, including safety protocols and proper responses during earthquakes, typhoons, fires, landslides, floods, and other emergency situations. Learners were reminded of the importance of being prepared, alert, and calm during disasters, as well as the need to follow school safety procedures, evacuation protocols, and instructions from authorities.

Through this activity, the K-10 Department continues to promote a culture of preparedness, resilience, and responsibility among Franciscan learners.

First Friday Thanksgiving Mass | July 3, 2026

The SFAC K-10 Department sponsored the First Friday of the Month Thanksgiving Mass held on July 3, 2026.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Calven Mark Banaybanay CSS. During his homily, Fr. Calven reminded the Franciscan learners that doubt is not the absence of faith, but may sometimes be an effect of disappointment. He encouraged everyone to remain connected with God, to continue trusting in His presence, and to be discerning in knowing what is true and what is false.

This meaningful celebration served as a reminder for the Franciscan community to strengthen their faith, practice gratitude, and continue living with wisdom, humility, and love for God.

WATCH | On June 26, 2026, the Citizenship Training Program (CTP) Class Hiraya of School Year 2026–2027 successfully conducted its first drill exercises, marking the beginning of their training in discipline, teamwork, leadership, and civic responsibility.

The activity introduced the cadets to the fundamentals of close-order drill, emphasizing precision, coordination, and obedience to commands as essential qualities of a responsible citizen and future leader.

Congratulations to all the cadets of CTP Class Hiraya for their dedication and enthusiasm during their first training. May this be the start of a meaningful and rewarding journey. Keep up the great work!
