Higit pa sa pag-alala sa mga bayani ng nakaraan, ito rin ay paalala na ang pagmamahal sa Pilipinas ay naipapakita sa ating mga gawa, malasakit, at paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Before this day completely ends, let us all take a moment to commemorate the life of 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐞ó𝐧 "𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲" 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐉𝐫. Today isn't solely about remembering the circumstances of his death but also remembering his advocacy and unwavering belief in the Filipino people. 🎗

As timely as it is amidst the countless of troubling events and reports in our nation, we are reminded through his words that we, Filipinos, are deserving to be served with dignity and experience ease rather than constant hardships, relying frequently in our famed resiliency—for we, as Ninoy had also claimed and believed, 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩 𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯'𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦. 🇵🇭👥️

On August 13, Thursday at the Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College of Las Piñas BA Campus - Covered Court, the Student General Orientation was commenced and led by both the Student Council BA & IT wherein emceed by Mr. Christoff Urbana alongside Ms. Q Monica Tañaquin with the theme:"𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐅𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐂𝐋𝐏". 💡📌

Even though the weather wasn't as friendly as it may seem during that day, the opposite energy was strongly given by the entirety of DFCAMCLP towards its new batches of freshmen! Students flocked with the courses: 𝐁𝐒𝐁𝐀 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, scheduled during the morning session while the courses: 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 were slated during the afternoon session.

Our freshmen Iskos were showcased various of helpful information to aid with their learning experience as well as to ensure that they live out their college days to the fullest! Along with these, several organizations had come up to present themselves and encourage students to join and remind them that college isn't only about academics but also acquiring skills and continuously honing them. ⚙️📑

To our dearest freshmen—truly, this is just the beginning of another chapter that you're all about to unfold. This orientation wasn't only a mere event but perhaps an open door towards to new opportunities, a boost to welcome with open arms new values that will genuinely help all of you thrive and eventually, lead you to success. 🍀🤞🏻

As the joyous short chapter of our summer vacation has come to an end—finally, finally, finally! The long-awaited 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗭𝗡 is real with 𝗗𝗙𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗖𝗟𝗣 as we welcome the academic year 2026-2027. 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘣𝘢? 'Cause we most definitely missed 𝗬𝗢𝗨, our fellow Isko's!

As your Student Council family, we have witnessed your journey beyond the classrooms. We have seen the long hours spent balancing academics and service, the challenges faced behind every successful event, the sacrifices made for the welfare of the student body, and the unwavering commitment to lead with integrity and purpose. Not all meaningful moments are grand sometimes, they are found in simple conversations, shared laughter, and genuine smiles. 🤍

Our outreach at Elsie became more than just an activity; it became a reminder that kindness connects people in the most beautiful way. We came to give, but we also left with lessons, happiness, and memories we will always treasure.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner/sponsor, JAMC (Jesus and My Church), for their kindness, support, and generosity in helping make this outreach possible. Their willingness to help and be part of this outreach truly touched our hearts. Because of your support, we were able to share more smiles, love, and meaningful moments with everyone involved. What started as ideas, plans, and lines of code slowly turned into real working systems at the 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞. 💻✨ Third-year and Fourth-year students presented their developed systems for SAD (Systems Analysis and Design) and Capstone, showing how much time, effort, teamwork, and patience went into each project.

The event became a space where ideas were shared and turned into something real and useful. Every presentation showed how simple concepts can grow into working systems when students carefully build them step by step. 💡🚀

It was a simple but meaningful showcase of student work and effort, shared with everyone who made it possible. ✨
