๐Ÿ“Œ Article 13, Section 2 - Determination of Election Outcome. To win, a candidate must secure at least one vote more than their closest opponent. Unlike the majority formula, this system does not
require the candidate to have more votes than the combined opposition or account for abstentions.
๐Ÿ“Œ Section 3 โ€“ Start of Term of Office:
The term of office for the winning candidates shall begin
twenty-four (24) hours after their public oath-taking, which will be duly organized by the PUP SC COMELEC.
๐Ÿ“Œ Section 4 โ€“ Proclamation and Oath-Taking Schedule:
All winners shall be proclaimed the day after the election. The oath-taking ceremony for all winners will take place during the 1st week of the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027.
