🌱 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞! 🌱

The Institute of W**d Science, Entomology and Plant Pathology (IWEP), in cooperation with the Crop Protection Development of Syngenta Philippines, successfully concluded the “𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐬” last August 14.

Held on-site at the IWEP Auditorium and online via Zoom, this academe-industry exchange featured IWEP’s expert entomologists, plant pathologists, and w**d scientists as resource speakers. They equipped Syngenta’s technical staff with 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 to effectively combat resilient pests, w**ds, and diseases threatening 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐧, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨, 𝐯𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚. 🌾
