On June 4, 2026, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) warmly welcomed the delegation from 2026 UA ZENSEN and OISCA International-Manila as part of their annual visit, highlighting the strong partnership and shared commitment to community development, cultural exchange, and international cooperation.
Spearheaded by the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO) in collaboration with SLSU-Tayabas Campus, the program commenced with a captivating cultural presentation by the SLSU-Sinag Banahaw Cultural Troupe, featuring the traditional dances Jota-Jota Manileรฑa and Sinakiki.
The event formally opened with welcome remarks from Dr. Joanna Paula E. Verano, Director of IAELO, followed by an inspirational message from University President Dr. Frederick T. Villa. Subsequently, Dr. Moses T. Macalinao presented the contributions of OISCA and UA ZENSEN to SLSU and local communities. Messages of appreciation were also delivered by Ms. Maribeth N. Reboton of OISCA International-Manila and Mr. Yoshikazu Takahashi, Leader of the UA ZENSEN Manufacturing Industry Sector, followed by the introduction of the 2026 UA ZENSEN Volunteers.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Asst. Prof. Reymar A. Ortega, Campus Director of SLSU-Tayabas, who expressed optimism for the continued collaboration among the partner institutions. The visit continued on June 5, 2026, through extension activities at SLSU-Tayabas Campus, further strengthening the enduring friendship and cooperation between SLSU, OISCA International, and UA ZENSEN.
