Hospitality Management Program of CABHA Conducts Post-OJT Evaluation for Graduating BSHM Students
The Hospitality Management Program of the College of Administration, Business, Hospitality and Accountancy (CABHA) successfully conducted its Post-On-the-Job Training (OJT) Evaluation for fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) students on May 25, 2026, at the CABHA Audio-Visual Room (AVR).
The activity was held following the successful completion of the students' 600-hour internship requirement. It served as a platform for graduating students to share their valuable experiences, learning insights, and professional growth gained during their industry training. The evaluation also aimed to identify challenges, concerns, and gaps encountered during the internship to further enhance and strengthen the OJT program for future batches of Hospitality Management students.
During the activity, students openly shared their most memorable experiences, achievements, and challenges faced in their respective training establishments. Their stories reflected the realities of the hospitality industry and highlighted the skills and competencies they developed throughout their internship journey.
In his message, Program Chair Dr. Jeremiah P. Elloso expressed his admiration for the students' perseverance, dedication, and resilience in overcoming challenges during their training. He commended them for embracing opportunities for growth and for developing the essential knowledge, skills, and professional values needed to succeed in the dynamic world of hospitality.
Meanwhile, Dr. Lajara, one of the OJT Coordinators, encouraged the graduating students to continue reaching for their dreams and aspirations. She expressed her confidence in their abilities and wished them success as they embark on their future careers in the hospitality industry.
Adding a heartfelt touch to the event, the Junior Association of Hospitality Management (JAHM) presented a special tribute video dedicated to the graduating students. The presentation showcased some of their most cherished memories and milestones during their academic journey at Southern Luzon State University, leaving many participants inspired and nostalgic.
The Post-OJT Evaluation concluded with a renewed sense of pride and accomplishment among the graduating students as they prepare to take the next step toward their professional careers.
