On 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐, 𝟏𝟖𝟖𝟕, the 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐨-𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬 was established through a royal decree — marking the birth of what we now know as the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬.

For over a century, the NLP has served as the 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞, as well as a vital source of intellectual, literary, and information resources for every Filipino.

This year’s theme:

📅 Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN (Now Open!)
