𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘: 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘 🌱

The College of Education Student Council (CESC) officially launches its Paper Drive activity, an environmental initiative encouraging all recognized College of Education student organizations to collect and submit used and recyclable paper from October 12 until the end of the first semester.

Through this initiative, student organizations are encouraged to practice responsible waste management, reduce paper waste, and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable campus. All collected paper must be submitted to the CESC Office, where designated officers will weigh and record each organization's collection to ensure a fair and transparent process.

As an added incentive, the top three organizations with the highest total weight of collected paper will be recognized and featured on the official CESC platforms.

Let us turn unused paper into meaningful action. Every sheet saved is a step toward change!

The College of Education, in partnership with Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC), conducted the National Aptitude and Normative Test for Educators (NANTE) on October 14, 2026, at the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Audio-Visual Center.

The assessment aimed to support graduating students in their academic preparation for the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) and their future careers as educators.

The College of Education Student Council (CESC) announces the conduct of the National Aptitude and Normative Test for Educators (NANTE) for fourth-year College of Education students on October 14, 2026, at the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Audio-Visual Center (AVC).

This initiative aims to assess the aptitude and competencies of pre-service teachers as they prepare for the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) and their future careers in the teaching profession.

Through this assessment, future educators are encouraged to recognize their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and take meaningful steps toward their professional development.

The College of Education Student Council (CESC) formally releases 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟭, 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳, entitled:

This Resolution establishes a standardized order of representation for recognized student organizations under the College of Education, based on the academic programs they represent. It provides a consistent and objective basis for official Council functions, activities, and communications.

By virtue of this Resolution, the prescribed order shall guide roll calls and attendance records, seating arrangements, official documents and reports, recognition during programs and formal events, signing arrangements, and other official purposes determined by the Council.

This measure reinforces the CESC's commitment to consistency, fairness, transparency, and good governance, ensuring an orderly and uniform system of representation for the academic programs and student organizations within the College of Education.

The approved Resolution is hereby published for the information and guidance of the College of Education community. The full document is attached for public reference.

𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘, 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘: 𝗔 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 ✨

From June to September, the restoration of the CESC office reflected the Council’s commitment in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming space for student representation and service.

Recognizing that having an office is both a privilege and a responsibility, the CESC officers took the initiative to improve the space and ensure that it remains orderly, functional, and suitable for council operations.

More than improving its appearance, the initiative emphasizes that responsible leadership includes the proper care and maintenance of the spaces entrusted to the Council. Keeping the office clean, organized, and purposeful is part of ensuring that it remains a professional environment for council work and student engagement.

In the interest of transparency, all expenses incurred during the restoration were personally shouldered by the CESC officers and their adviser. No Council funds or budget were used for the improvements.

May this space continue to reflect what CESC stands for: a Council that listens, represents, and serves with responsibility.

On September 21, 1972, then-President Ferdinand E. Marcos signed Proclamation No. 1081, placing the Philippines under martial law.

As students and future educators, may we continue to learn from our history, examine its records, listen to the experiences of those who lived through it, and carry these lessons forward.
