LGU MAGSAYSAY announced the implementation of Per Executive Order No. 216, Series of 2026, which outlines measures for energy and fuel conservation, including the adoption of a compressed four-day work week. The move is taken in response to the continued rise in global fuel prices and to support national government directives to ensure proper and efficient energy use.
Under this influence, official work hours of all municipal offices will be implemented from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., to complete the 40-hour work week. Friday will be declared a non-working day, except offices providing essential public services will resume their operations to avoid disruption in public services.
Everyone is reminded that this executive order also covers strict implementation of fuel and energy conservation measures, including the proper use of government vehicles, minimizing non-essential travel, and strengthening digital operations.
