Graduate School Students Orientation Program 🌟
The MSU-Maigo College of Education, Science and Technology Graduate Studies Department triumphantly convened its Graduate Orientation Program for the 1st Semester, A.Y. 2025–2026 at MSU-MCEST, Ringia Hotel on September 21, 2025. The Master of Arts in Education major in School Administration and Master of Public Administration, MSU-Marawi Extension Program students joined the momentous program.
The program commenced with registration, followed by a solemn invocation led by Prof. Mohammad-Yusoph P. Mapia, Research Coordinator of the College of Public Affairs. An audio-visual presentation of the National Anthem ensued, before the intellectual prelude was delivered through the Opening Remarks of Dr. Marecon C. Viray, Chairperson of the Public Administration Department, MSU-Marawi. His presence and discourse truly exalted the occasion, exemplifying the synergy between MSU-Marawi’s distinguished Master of Public Administration program and our institution’s pursuit of academic preeminence.
The stage then welcomed inspirational messages from Atty. Jamaloden A. Basar, MSU-MCEST Campus School Superintendent; Dr. Aisah G. Minukon, Dean of the College of Public Affairs -Marawi; and Analyn G. Abdulraof, PhD, RGC, MSU-MCEST Dean of Instruction highlighting the noble mission of fostering graduate education.
The presentation of the vision, mission, and goals of the MPA and MAED programs followed, spearheaded by Prof. Alinor C. Amil and Dr. Florita C. Lascuna. The Program policies were delivered by Dr. Hosnie M. Gogo, and Dr. Faridah S. Abdullah-Mira-ato, PhD, RGC. Their explications crystallized the academic direction. The introduction of the faculty and staff under both the MPA and MAED programs, highlighted by the insights of Dr. Hosnie M. Gogo and Dr. Margareta C. Paghasian.
After a brief respite, the assembly reconvened for an open forum, which allowed meaningful interaction and intellectual exchange between the graduate students and their academic mentors. The event culminated with profound closing remarks from Dr. Louvil M. Ozarraga, Extension Program Coordinator, followed by the spirited rendition of the MSU Hymn.
Indeed, this Graduate Orientation Program was not merely ceremonial but a scholarly affirmation of MSU-MCEST’s dedication to cultivate leaders of competence and conscience. With the distinguished presence of Dr. Marecon C. Viray of MSU-Marawi’s MPA program, the orientation was elevated into an academic milestone that fortified the bridge of collaboration and excellence between the campus.
